Subz1987 Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 This is definitely a creative take on this mix, and I thought it worked well. Oh, and inb4shitstorm Quote

DiGi Valentine Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 Oh. Well, didn't you just come along and kill us with this lyrical ish? XD Sicker than the sickness, Meta. The flow was on point. Love it! Quote
SuperiorX Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 This right here is where it's at! Such a smooth delivery, both vocally and instrumentally. Clever & witty lyrics too. I remember this from the WIP forums awhile back and liked it then, and the final version is even better. Congrats Paul, keep it up! Quote
Crulex Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 Now this is true blue rap! Great work with the music side of the arrangement and the delivery of those lyrics were incredible! Clever idea using the titles of the Zelda games in the lyrics and making it work. Even Link's annoying voice sounded good with the scratches at the end. Damn good ReMix, man. Quote
Eino Keskitalo Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 Oh yes. This was good. Thank you! --Eino Quote
Benjamin Briggs Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 I totally recognize those Harmless presets. such awesome lead synths great mix Quote
Damashii!! Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 Congrats, meta! I've enjoyed this since SupX showed it to me a long while ago, and it's still sounding great. I disagree slightly with the opinion that the rapping should/could have come in earlier. When I first heard this my initial thoughts were "cool, some traditional meta synth-y stuff, but with a chill hip hop twist and some gratuitous turntablism throughout," but then when the rapping kicked in I was thinking "oooohhhhh yeeeaaah, he killed it!" Since this was the first of meta's rapping that I ever heard, I felt like that elongated intro approach leading into the rap much later in the song works smoothly because it's kind of like meta saying "yeeeaaah... I've made a few instrumental stuff, but now let me show you what happens when I grab the mic." Quote
jnWake Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 I didn't expect to like this but it's quite cool! Very unexpected use of the source The part beggining at 1:47 is awesome! Quote
