DjCUTMAN Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 Bloody Tears is probably the most popular Castlevania song in the live vgm scene, and I love what Joshua did with this version of it. The whole EP is great, I can't stop listening to it Quote
LuigiFan Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 Bloody Tears is my favorite Castlevania track, and up until this point, Sixto's take on it has been my absolute favorite. JM just blew that one out of the water with this mix. It's hot, it's sexy, the beat sticks with me - man I do love this. Definitely going to go check out the rest of VLAD - if this track is any indication, EDM is a good hat for JM to be wearing. Quote
darkbrandflake11 Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 The glitch sounds with the jazz really make this remix unpredictable. I really like the sound Joshua Morse is experimenting with. This gives a fresh look at already fresh music. Quote
timaeus222 Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 MAN. Those chords... dat bass... Combining two of Morse's best abilities. SO GOOD. Quote
Crulex Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 This is a combination of various ideas that seems to have turned out pretty good, I'd say. Glitchy electronica that screams robotica with some of Morse's classic style is an awesome match. Great work, Morse! Quote
Black_Doom Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 This is probably my most favorite JM's mix to date. An excellent four-on-the-floor take on one of the most popular CV song - do you need more? I don't think so... The intro is long, sure, but when it finally picks up at 0:52.. Oh, you better hear this. I like how the electric guitar sinks in meaty beats - it sounds completly awesome. And dat bass... Oh, so sweet! Quote
Tex Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 The glitch sounds with the jazz really make this remix unpredictable. Glitchy electronica that screams robotica with some of Morse's classic style is an awesome match. Agreed. This reminds me of virt's/Jake Kaufman's Mighty Switch Force OST. Yet this also has that house flavour JM is known for (like the rhythm piano at 1:21 and the deep pads around 2:45). A very cleverly written remix that should not be missed. Quote
Nostalvania Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 Joshua Morse and EDM, that combination works just perfectly. Great harmonies and groove as usual, i especially like the part from 2:51 - 3:07 with the acoustic piano chords, IMO that specific section could be a bit longer, because it's so damn tasty! Quote
