Hey guys,

After 9 years being on OverClocked ReMix, basically starting to my musical adventure here on the forums (first as Neblix, moving on from that name to my real name, then starting a new brand), I'm proud to finally release my first album of original music, COLOURS.

Will also be coming to all major storefronts in the coming week, including streaming platforms! It's already available for free on YouTube and SoundCloud at low-quality streaming.

COLOURS is my debut album wrapping up my early young adult experience and entering the world as an independent creative and engineer. With this album is the introduction of the PRYZM, my metaphor for the assimilation of different influences across the spectrum of music. Music can be expressed in many different ways, and my motivation to compose is to learn all of these different expressions and merge them into my identity as a composer.

It takes a certain mind to proceed with this kind of vision and invest in it; each song has a logical progression to it, in both textural development and arrangement. [For example, "Constellations" is largely atmospheric, and it can be hard to nail proper textural progression while maintaining interest. You got that balance.] There's a large amount of stylistic diversity here, but I can hear the jazz influence (in terms of the chord progressions and time signature modulations) and the attention to detail that I would attribute to you. In terms of mastering, the track flow also makes sense. Great job!

I think my favorite track is "Colour of Time".

Congrats on the release and nice job on the album, I listened to it all morning. As a matter of personal taste I've never been overly fond of the vast majority of modern prog rock,  JR's Rhythm of Time being far away my favorite, but I really dig your work here.  Ditto to Colour of Time being a standout as well.

Thanks so much! I was trying to bring the influence and elements into a context that was more familiar and approachable for people.

Hey PRYZM

Just wanted to pop in here real quick to say I am really loving your release. :) It's wonderful work. I particularly enjoyed Astral Genesis and Constellations. Looking forward to hearing more!

Thanks Minnie. Astral Genesis was really fun and I wish I had time to make it a longer piece.
