Brushfire
IKARUGA. rly. Ikaruga kicks my ass and doesn't even call me the next day. They weren't kidding when they said this game was hard.

Play some Aegis wing, or Raiden Project and it won't seem as hard. Said the guy who still hasn't downloaded the full game yet.

Brushfire
Here, this will make you feel better. That makes me want to cry in my pants. At least I'm good at DrumMania. No one can take that from me.

Bigfoot
That looks harder that what it really is. And what I'm about to say is probably easier said than done. Looks like you just need to play it a few times to figure out the patterns, and you need to find out the hitbox on your ship.
Dhsu
It's simply really, just don't die.
sgx
Worst thing about that last clip was the voice acting.
Maco70
Ikagura is really friggin hard. And has anyone played the penny arcade game yet? The demo did not impress me one bit.
I-n-j-i-n
Penny Arcade game is TWENTY dollars. That has to be the most expensive downloadable game I've seen.
Maco70
Is it really? Wow, than I am REALLY un-interested. You think guys who critique games would know what would suck. Shame, because the game is interesting, but the fighting system is trash.
FR
I know it's a little late to make a post about this but: Anybody else a little disappointed by Mass Effect? Also, Ikagura is hard. So is Rez(at least the bosses can be) and so is Triggerheart Exelica.Cod 4 was better then I thought it was gonna be.
Blake
I absolutely loved Mass Effect. The only disappointment for me was that it wasn't longer main story-wise.
I-n-j-i-n
I was disappointed in Mass Effect in that it felt like a huge preview of bigger things to come. And the romance aspect could've been more fleshed out. That and the battle system became rather simple.

prophetik music
i enjoyed the shooting (once i got the hang of it), but i agree - there could have been more there. it was too easy to wreck everyone without really trying.
Maco70
Somewhat related; I bought my girlfriend Portal for PC (because she loved playing it on my 360, but doesn't have one). And it won't allow her to install without first installing steam. I have yet to look at it, but have you guys heard of this?
Dhsu
Yeah, it's their form of anti-piracy. Not really a big deal though, no spyware or anything in it, and you can even download free demos and stuff.
Maco70
Sucks that she has dial up then... ><;
prophetik music
you can be offline to use it, last time i checked.
Doulifée
you can be offline to use it, last time i checked. yup you can play offline. Maybe the first time you need to be online to play the game but it's ok after thats.
Maco70
Ok, here's a question then: Why if you buy the game on disc, does it make you download the game from steam? Something seems wrong here.
Blake
Nope. However, you can add the CD key to your steam account so you can download it without the disc any time. The disc is a faster way to install the game though.
prophetik music
you don't have to download it from steam - you can just install the game and then link it to your steam account. hey, page 100!
eternal Zero
As a form of anti-piracy it still is flawed in the sense that they gave people a legitimate way to give friends their games. ::shrug:: Buddy asked me for Portal last week and I just gave him my login info.
