Pavos Posted February 16, 2007 Posted February 16, 2007 Could you update the first post Pocket? I'm doing Inside the Catle Walls instead of EC
Foxhull Posted February 16, 2007 Posted February 16, 2007 Ooh! Lovin' it. Add me. STAGE BOSS(hint, hint, wink, wink, nudge, nudge).
Fishy Posted February 16, 2007 Author Posted February 16, 2007 :/... About 20 minutes ago AJ asked me to collab with him on that track... Yarg...
POCKETMAN Posted February 16, 2007 Posted February 16, 2007 geez.... can't.... keep... up..... must...........
prophetik music Posted February 16, 2007 Posted February 16, 2007 like i said, if you can find me a real midi for lethal lava lands, i'll do it.
Shadow Wolf Posted February 16, 2007 Posted February 16, 2007 Y'all be careful with my Dire Dire docks now. That shit's the soundtrack of my childhood. But you can rest easier in the (somewhat arguable) fact that you simply can't do better than DJP's Sunken Suite. Also, if anyone's looking for reference MP3s of the originals and can't find them for some insane reason, I can... provide them. PM me if you need any.

Aetherius Posted February 16, 2007 Posted February 16, 2007 I've checked, and I'm really not that interested in any of the available tracks. If someone drops out of one of the others, I'll take a look, but...meh.
Dafydd Posted February 16, 2007 Posted February 16, 2007 Alternatively, you could get started on your own mix for your own project.
Arek the Absolute Posted February 16, 2007 Posted February 16, 2007 Super mario 64 remix project, alternate edition? That would be odd...

PM me if you need any. Pressure anyone? Djp's was good, but I always felt it was a bit liberal. Mine will be very different, but I'm doing my best to live up to the awesomeness of the original. Also, 2:48? Bit short ain't it?
Shadow Wolf Posted February 16, 2007 Posted February 16, 2007 Yeah, 2:48's short. But it's the best 2:48 on the entire site in my opinion. Matter of fact that mix is the second I ever downloaded from this site, and it's the reason I've been here for 5 years, and I still haven't found anything I like as much as that song. Anyways, none of that is to say you can't put together a hell of a mix. 17 minutes or so would be pretty tight.
Aetherius Posted February 16, 2007 Posted February 16, 2007 Super mario 64 remix project, alternate edition? That would be odd... If you're talking about dafydd's post, he was referring to the Zelda project, for which I haven't yet started my song.
POCKETMAN Posted February 16, 2007 Posted February 16, 2007 If you're talking about dafydd's post, he was referring to the Zelda project, for which I haven't yet started my song. HAHA, ya, and how long has that been going for..... ??

Rofl, what an idea.

Oooh, didn't realize it was you were the poster there starky. HAHA, ya, and how long has that been going for..... ?? Ouch. A bit uncalled for......i loled....
POCKETMAN Posted February 16, 2007 Posted February 16, 2007 ya, maybe one day we'll get to actually hear it!
Escariot Posted February 16, 2007 Posted February 16, 2007 HAHA, ya, and how long has that been going for..... ?? Well, I was originally going to do the website for the project, but that was way back around the time I started phasing out of OCR... Then Epo took over the website from there.
POCKETMAN Posted February 16, 2007 Posted February 16, 2007 I can kinda remember it starting. And saying to myslelf, "wow, this will be cool when it's done".
prophetik music Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 it's been going for far too long, that's how long. back on task. take care of koopa road, zoola - if you don't want it, i'll snatch it up.
Fishy Posted February 20, 2007 Author Posted February 20, 2007 We now have three nice little WIPs, (including one from Zoola, sorry prophet) which is cool. I'm hoping this posting will be contagious. pu and Zoola are on my unnofficial "awesome" list for their enthusiasm.
Subz1987 Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 I was looking over the track list, and I was thinking: Why not combine the Haunted House and Merry-Go-Round songs into one song? There is a remix on OCR that already does that, and it might be simpler for the remixer to just incorporate those two songs into a single remix for the project.
prophetik music Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 its not nice to copy people's compositional ideas, that's why we haven't.
POCKETMAN Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 its not nice to copy people's compositional ideas, that's why we haven't. Exactly, plus that means less tracks! ONE WHOLE LESS TRACK!!!!!!!!! UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pavos Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 For a project that has it's first WIP deadline in autumn, we're moving forward pretty fast
