A new Dissidia Final Fantasy game on the horizon?
Master Mi replied to Master Mi's topic in General Discussion
A new Dissidia Final Fantasy game has been officially confirmed and announced with a trailer ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A new Dissidia game was recently announced. Unfortunately, it's only a mobile game - but at least it's interesting that Square Enix hasn't completely abandoned such a promising series as Dissidia. So maybe we can still hope for a really good next-gen title for the Dissidia series at some point, which might continue at the high level of the first or second Dissidia for PSP in enthanced audiovisual PS5 or PS6 standards someday. The title is called “Dissidia Duellum” and is apparently even set in the Japanese metropolis of Tokyo: And for a mobile game, it seems to be quite well staged. What's particularly interesting here is that, apart from the usual protagonists, villains, and summoned monsters, you can apparently also fight ordinary enemies from the Final Fantasy universe. I could imagine that the game developers at Square Enix are using this concept in this mobile game as a test phase so that they can exploit, expand, and implement it more intensively in a larger next-gen sequel in the Dissidia series. - Today

Man some remixes, you just instantly click with....This is one of them.. What am I drawn to? I suppose I am a sucker for downbeat jazzy trance. Also the kind of ethereal "stretched" synth sounds just make my brain happy. Not to mention the actual mix quality, at least on my desktop monitors is just so crisp and clean. What's not to love. 😎🤙 -

What a fantastic remix. Saucy beat, and oh my god I don't know what one of those synths was, but that is definitely OLD SCHOOL, and I love it. I don't know how to describe it, its got that reverby quality to it? It's on many of the classic bangers here, but properly and beautifully splashed into this. Nostalgia from classic ocremix and classic games all in one, so many layers....like an onion.....ogre......

Racing through dirt and mud, here is my rock cover of the theme of “Donut Plains” from Super Mario Kart. With roaring guitars, thrashing drums and pure SNES nostalgia, the big guns are here with a collaboration with High Z, joining forces once again to deliver a blazing double guitar solo together. Rock on!

I like listening to a lot of Castlevania music throughout October. These are some of my favorite Castlevania remixes that make me rock out with my fangs out. 🤘🧛♂️

Love the energy in this track. Feels like a mini orchestra of an adventurous spring day in the forest. As I continue to work my way backwards from newest to oldest remixes I find these little oasises(oasi?) of rebeccas remixes to be a nice calm rest point between some of the more wild tracks haha. Thanks for the great arrangement!! 😎🤙

OCR04805 - Chrono Trigger "Eschala Them"
Estrang replied to Liontamer's topic in ReMix Reviews & Comments
Really creative take on a fan favorite. The melody in this track can be so powerful on its own that some remixes have to stray really far to stand out. This one feels like it compliments the melody while still being quite experimental. The intro was a little rough for me I really dislike that distortion effect, I am sure it was to set the tone, but ughh....Outside of that, bobbed along happily, and that crunchy ending was so satisfying, left me wanting more! Wait isn't that the opposite of satisfying? 5 stars! 🌠 -

A lot of Mazedude's remixes have the right amount of kooky or creepy that make them a perfect fit for some of my spooky season playlists.

Just a humble reminder for those planning to submit that it is now October 13th, and you have about two more months to submit your tracks to The Coop. Though, I wouldn't delay too long, as this year is flying by.

Yoshi's Island Sambatronic 2025-10-12 2358.mp3 Was on the fence about finishing this for submission, brushed it up a little bit and will polish some more since it's pretty much 90% there. -
*NO* Sonic Forces "Park Avenue (Lofi Mix)"
Hemophiliac replied to Liontamer's topic in Judges Decisions
Rubber-stamping this in agreement with the others here: Lofi is more than just a general "sound". You want to focus on maximizing what's there while remaining as minimal as possible. What's here feels like a short-cut on the general idea of what lofi is. Seems like an EQ applied on the master to cut the highs and roll off some of the low end too. This arrangement also needs more personalization too other than a slower tempo. The background elements are static and repetitive. Change things up from time to time, introduce new sections, new instruments, anything. To me this is a work-in-progress concept still, and not a finished and polished idea yet. NO -
