Thanks man, glad you liked it. It naturally had a sort of jazzy feel to it, so it was tricky but fun to try to turn it into a rock song while keeping the essence of those notes there

I have to say..... What an awesome mashup, AND, the violent but....deep space(?) feel, is being dug by me. There was some really fabulous transitions in this piece, and I love the way the crescendos on the synths swapped to angry guitar. Bravo. 😎🤙

Love this remix, I never played pictionary, but I do remember some of those "game show" style NES games, and I mostly hated them! This title screen song, however, is a different story. It's just a vibe, I can't help but be propelled to a jazzy, funky elevator in the 80s, it's where the real party is. Or something. I was only 3 years old when the 80s ended, but I imagine an elevator party with all kinds of crazy stuff going on would be COOL. Alright I need to stop leaving my 2 cents when I'm zombie mode tired. Great remix!

As I continue my "newest to oldest" personal challenge of listening to every remix, this one has perhaps looped more times than any other track....Like, is Bubsy allowed to go this hard?? Remix of the year perhaps? Lol. 🌠

I'm normally not a huge fan of lyrics in game remixes (especially when they are instrumental). Just a thing with me. Anyway, man, the rapping is so good and perfect for this remix, mad respect! Love this homage to TJ&E! 😎🤙

Other than Omnisphere, some of my frequently-used synths: Sylenth1, z3ta+ 2, VB3 for organs Sample devs I really like: Heavyocity, Impact Soundworks, Eduardo Tarilonte, Orange Tree Samples, Soniccouture Effects MeldaProduction: MFreeFXBundle (fantastic value for money, I mostly use the EQ and compressor), MUltraMaximizer, MAutoDynamicEQ, MTurboReverbLE VallhallaDSP: Room, VintageVerb, Shimmer Cableguys: Snapback (amazing drum layering time-saver), ShaperBox3 Rob Papen: RP-Distort2 (crazy good distortion) Camel Audio: Camel Phat, CamelSpace (RIP) Native Instruments: Guitar Rig 5 Audio Damage: Vapor, Fluid, Liquid Monitoring: Slate VSX (this is very pricey but it's been hugely helpful with having only a terrible room to mix in, it's pretty much cut out the 5-10 car check revisions that were the norm for me) Have I forgotten a bunch of things here? This song was difficult to pin down due to the key not being one I heard a lot outside of music theory class 😂. I will probably come back and tweak some things in the future but I think it’s close enough to publish. Sorry Lucas, I'm throwing in with my fellow Js here. I'm not bothered nearly as much by the intentional dissonance, but this needs another mastering pass for sure due to the audible clipping from 1:42 onward. Besides being dry, the ride sample at 1:13 sounds too clean, too hi-fi compared to the other parts of the drumkit on top of being mixed too far forward. I know you and jnWake can turn this one right around 'cause it's really close! NO (resubmit)

Hey, I have some old VG music remixes on my computer that I'm like 99% sure came from this site. I've tracked down most of them, but there's two I'm stuck on 'cause the filenames I picked weren't very specific. First one is a remix of a Bowser theme, I think SMW's. This one was used in a fangame from September 2007, so the song would have to have existed no later than then. The other is a file I saved as "MetroidMusic" so it must be a Metroid song. Has anyone here heard either/know where they came from? BowserRemix.mp3 MetroidMusic.mp3

I'm going to throw out the other option that I went with: Windows 10 LTSC IoT. You have to deal with purchasing a grey market key, as this is not technically meant for home users. Then you have to find a full ISO as the trial ISO from MS can't be upgraded to the full version without a lot of headache. Finding it is not hard but that may or may not be a deal breaker for you. But it's Win10 (with some of the unnecessary fluff stripped out) that will keep receiving updates until 2032. (!!) I recently migrated from 10 Pro to 10 LTSC IoT and all of my music software works fine. The only downside is since it's a version of Windows 10 that's basically be frozen in time in the past, other than security updates, new software could theoretically not work on it. But all of my stuff (including Kontakt 8) installed no problem, and I have a ton of VSTs.

I really like the general arrangement and ideas you had for this track! This is right up my alley as far as genre goes. Theres a lot to learn and discover in dubstep, let alone the entirety of EDM, andI look forward to seeing more from you and what steps you take in your production journey. What DAW do you use?
