  1. Welcome to the voting stage The mixing stage is over. This round has 6 songs and 1 bonus mix. The following people compete against each other this round: Bundeslang PlanarianHugger Xsquader vsvsvsvsvs RonaldPoe Supercoolmike NinjaPenguinDan (if anyone wants wants a different colour or picture, just let me know and post the picture / colour you want) And the bonus track is by: Chalis To vote, do the following: Visit the stated ThaSauce Page and listen to all the entries. Scroll to the form at the bottom of the screen. Fill in the entries from first to second. Leave the third box empty. Do not vote for Chalis State a reasoning for it. Participants are encouraged to vote and leave feedback. However, they may not vote for themselve, they only have to fill in the first box. They get a free first place if they vote, so it is doesn't matter for the result. Non participants are encouraged to vote to decide the winner and leave comments as well. Chalis has a vote that counts twice, as last rounds winner. Bundeslang's vote does not count twice since he entered the round. Always look in this thread to find out who's the winner of the round after the voting stage instead of only looking at ThaSauce for the results. You have until THIS Wednesday, May 4th 10:59 am ThaSauce time to vote. Results will be posted after the two minutes of silence on this Dutch 'Remembrance of the Dead' Day. Check the ThaSauce page for the exact time you have. The winner may choose the source tune for PRC322. Check the ThaSauce Page to vote. If anyone have issues voting via ThaSauce you can vote by sending me a PM at Ocremix.

  4. As much as I would like to allow it, I cannot accept Elizabeth as she is not a playable hero. The pool of possible hero choices is already extremely large so there is no need to include NPCs into the mix there. I do agree with your sentiment that it'd be great to have some Persona representation this year. You do bring up a good point I've been wrestling with as I was finalizing the rules for signing up. Should people who want to be in a specific bracket that has room for them have to provide a list for the opposing bracket? Honestly, in that kind of situation, it does feel unnecessary. For anyone who either does not care or hasn't decided at the time of signing up which bracket they want to be in should still provide both lists. I do not mind amending the rules with this change if no one has any issues with that. I'll leave it open for discussion and act accordingly before the sign-ups open.

  5. This is a pretty strong album, overall more so than the first IMO. Lots of interesting styles and creativity here; it feels like the artists all really made the source(s) their own. RiverSound, your track reminds of an idea I once had to use that tune as a ballad in an indoor drumline show. It sounds great; the last 90 seconds are really interesting. Once again, Darkesword makes a great conclusion.

  7. Hey! Sorry I've been MIA. I'll try to get my track finished soon, but I'm swamped at the moment since a video game I'm working on the score for is going to be part of a 24-hour marathon as a fundraiser for children's hospitals next weekend and I've got to get new music done and programmed with FMOD in time!

  8. They should - and they did: essentially, it wasn't interpretive enough, and the second half was too similar to the first half. In other words, the arrangement could have been more different from the original to illustrate that you tried to inject your own original ideas into the remix as well as those from the original track, and there could have been more variation in the second half to reduce the repetition and show that you made a lot of effort to not simply copy and paste. To be fair, they did note that it sounds good on its own merits, and encouraged expansion and resubmission.
