There's a lot of factors to consider, but as a music producer, I'd recommend looking for something with a proper Intel Core i7 processor, *WITHOUT* the "U" designation after it. 8-16 GB RAM, SSD if he can afford it, spacious 7200 RPM HDD if not. ASUS, Gigabyte, MSI, Razer and others make good gaming laptops that would also double as production laptops effectively, or he can look more on the enterprise side of things (Dell, HP, Lenovo make decent workstation laptops, as long as you avoid their consumer grade stuff). I agree with lemnline, it is CRIMINAL that there are not more remixes from Yoshi's Island... what a FANTASTIC game... I am DYING to hear a remix of the "End Course/GOAL" theme. GREAT JOB, nOkbient!!!

Just wondering if anyone had an specific feedback on the Intro track I made? Since it's like the first track on the album (and probably the second track that a person would listen to after Corneria :P), I want to make sure it sounds good enough to do the rest of the album justice. BTW thanks for your "Sounds like Mass Effect" comment @TheChargingRhino, that was definitely of the feel I was going for
