  1. I've made many changes since my first posting:) Version submitted first https://drive.google.com/open?id=1nHURd09pcMxso4k32o9CuwqUvuTeNww- Latest version 11-7-2019, second submission https://drive.google.com/file/d/18Bv8PRVMqUlDu1CxRpIjNQtLMXxhfbq5/view?usp=sharing Latest Latest version 12-24-2019 This is pretty much completely different, it's something I have been working on under a different name for a short while. The original idea of this tune has gone through the grinder a couple of times, and it was gently suggested that perhaps a different tack might help. My VERY first attempt at Epic FootSteps actually incorporated both walkabout themes from Dragon Warrior 2, and this new version is the second walkabout theme, as opposed to the first. I also add that this is obviously not close to completion, I'm looking for some feedback;) I haven't fiddled with EQ/Mastering yet. I also ask that it be listened to with something that uses ASIO for playback. On my pc, for reasons I have not been able to fathom, playback done with any normal media player sounds MARKEDLY different, in EQ and stereo image/spectrum...and I have tried all solutions googled and asked about here on these forums:) This version is not done with LMMS, as the previous version, and I have installed a few different VST's Original Second Walkabout theme Latest version 12-24-2019 https://drive.google.com/file/d/1TMV-pYLpCklO0ZdRx99wiVb8HdT5tAvS/view?usp=sharing

  2. I covered "Sis Puella Magica!" from the anime Puella Magi Madoka Magica for An Overclocked Christmas Vol. XI. I recently made some tweaks, and along with a video my husband put together - which shows scenes from the anime - I uploaded the (hopefully) final version to YouTube. I arranged it in a folk style not unlike the original. So, I sang the vocals and played the harp, hammered dulcimer, Irish bouzouki, and recorder. I had fun arranging this song and I think the video is very fitting, so I thought I would share this improved version. Enjoy.

Lufia II: Of Gods and Men

No. More accurately, not yet. At this point it's me dragging my feet (we do have enough music to put out an album, push comes to shove), but with the project lasting as long as it has I've been forced to pull away from it quite often to attend to other staff duties & RL distractions. I apologies for making people wait for so damn long.

  4. Actually I got two Paper Mario mixes in the works right now, both from the original. Maybe might have a 3rd down the line, but I just have these two as part of my youtube project. I won't do the entire soundtrack, I'm just picking my favorite tracks, but I hear your request and will answer.

    Twitch for VG remixes??

Yeah, that's very true; 2017 there was a pretty hardcore blacklist going down for all political channels on YT (right-wing, left-wing, didn't matter). We're hitting a point where the downside of the combination of absolute free speech and insanely fast information delivery combines (bad info spreads fast and is nearly impossible to correct), and the tools anyone has will both be inadequate AND it hurts more honest actors talking about politics. Not a politics thread/post, but to your point the YT politics blacklist is a real thing, done in response to the whole "Nazis-are-getting-our-ads" fiasco of yesteryear. If you're not dedicated to politics it's a good idea not to make political videos on your channel. Perhaps make two channels if you're into that kind of thing? Best of luck on your endeavor of streaming your music profitably.

  6. One thing that I recommend, if you're not doing already, is importing a well mixed song that's roughly similar to what you want yours to sound like and using it as a bit of a reference when mixing. It'll help you gauge certain things about your mix, especially as a beginner. It'll also help with the issue you mention about the mix sounding vastly different on different speakers. You can use the reference track to let you know roughly how your song should sound when going between different devices.

  7. ok, it's submitted. let's cross our fingers for how long it'll take to get processed and reviewed! i tabbed a total of five songs for mixflood release...we'll see if additional tracks get selected for eventual release as well.
