Hello all! To those unfamiliar, Dwelling of Duels is a monthly VGM cover competition. Competitors anonymously submit redone versions of game music based on a monthly theme and the entries are voted upon by the community. We just launched a Patreon to help us get some $$$ together so we can pay the visual artists who create our banner artwork each month. Once we reach a decent amount, we hope to put the excess money to use on other things in the future (More prizes? Licensed song releases? Physical compilations? Who knows!). Dude Sonic has some absolutely fantastic Christmas themed tunes. My all time favourite VGM Christmas related theme, i actually did for the PRC Sonic Special was Holoska. But Diamond Dust is also fantastic, as well as Sonic Lost World. Here's a few more, if your interested, that's also fantastic. Edit - Due to an error, i had to remove the videos.

Most votes i know off, are the entrants, and the people who run this thing. So in this case, someone probably like me, and maybe you and Bundeslang. I think both are the same i'm not sure.

It totally doesn't have mixing issues or a rubbish guitar tone, alright? But I have to submit something for the 400th round, otherwise the communists win. *Edit* I should probably mention that my source tracks are Gigalopolis Zone and Mecha Green Hill Zone from Sonic Chaos (MS).

Hey OCR crowd! Wanted to quick plug the newest Castlevania tribute album I ran, after last year's X68000 album. https://smarturl.it/thebelmontadventure It's what it says on the package; a tribute to the music from the first 2 Gameboy Castlevania games, Adventure and Belmont's Revenge. Again had a fantastic troop of musicians helping me create this album (Snappleman, Alexander Brandon, Viking Guitar, etc.), which I've wanted to do for a little while but never put into motion until earlier this year. It's got a bevy of genres - metal, rock, orchestral, jazzy prog, electronic from a bunch of remix artists and even a few game composers in the mix! I'm really proud of the variety and skill that was brought to this album while covering some of my favorite music from the series. It's released currently on Bandcamp, Spotify, iTunes, Amazon Music and more. Proceeds will go to Bat Conservation International to help endangered bat species and their habitats; because you can't have a Castlevania without bats!

I bought that RMX thing they have going on last night for $4. EVERYTHING I've listened to that sounds great and exactly like stuff I can use. Not totally on-topic with the freebies here, but I've been mulling over announcing that deal on here anyway.

Did this for Dwelling of Duels this past month. Haven't submitted here yet, because I figure it might be considered too conservative. I can always go back and insert another part or two, but as someone who sometimes just enjoys listening to a straightforward take on a tune, I'm kinda reluctant to. So if anyone has any ideas, or thinks it's good to submit as is, I'm open to your 2¢.

I think HoboKa should move on to voting. I highly doubt anyone will enter. Unless of course you want me to forge the entrants, by disguising myself as a new person so i can make another track lol. Of course i wont do that, but it's an idea :L Seriously though, the chances of getting another entry is pretty low.
