Hey all, I've decided to quit the project. It's not a decision I made lightly, but unfortunately over the past few weeks the whole thing has started to become more like a burden than anything else. We've had another person quit, which is essentially what made my mind up for me. Since the whole Jeremy Soule revelation there's been a feeling like the whole thing is tainted, and that's become more apparent as people have distanced themselves from it. No artist that I've contacted to do the cover art wants to touch this thing; some of them have specifically stated it's because of the Soule connection. It's becoming depressing. I'm going to offer up to the project to anyone who wants to take it on. If you're interested drop me a DM and we'll discuss. I'm sorry to drop this out of the blue, but I feel it's best for my own mental wellbeing to do this.

Bundeslang decided to accept the result, taking his loss and congratulate the winner without going to the court to try to claim the win. @theconsoloist I'll dm you about what exactly we should do with this For public record, I'm double checking with all the collaborators on my track, but so far everyones cool with an OCR submission.

I may actually be able to get something small in for this one.

I found something I liked about each variation. The first had a strong jovial vibe with that rigorous percussion and brass. The second's dreamy vocals gave a sweeping, almost cosmic feel. I assume that the third variation is around the 3:00 marker. That one sounded kinda plucky and playful. I am most impressed with the fourth one though. It has a thrilling grand sound. I enjoyed the percussion variety that accompanied the bright, almost airy strings and choral parts. I can say that in general, it all has a pretty nice sound quality, and I believe you're making impressive work. Keep it up. Also, I identify with spending a lot of money, and THEN learning how to actually make something good with it. XD Side note, I often find it helpful to include time stamps of pieces with multiple movements/variations. Then reviewers can easily navigate it!

It was fun to take part in this round with some (exactly 2) other great pieces. These compos are an excellent way to try new things in ones' remixing life, so thanks to Bundeslang for hosting the PRC.

Well, without commenting on that possibility, I haven't been able to find a midi of that Ghor's battle.

Hype hype hype. I can't wait for the voting to be done so I can start verbalizing my obsessing over all these songs. Also, I find it coincidentally great that both Rundas and Gandrayda got mixes. Makes me wish I did Ghor's, so we could cover all the hunters.
