  1. This is known as the reverse Atma. Instead of hating on games that are gonna be good, he likes games that have a possibility of sucking. In my case, I stand by my wait and see attitude.
  2. Well, I didn't want to spoil the Spoiler. And all that was missing from that issue is a backpedaling sound.
  3. I have an anti-ego aura. People who are pretentious around me lose power like superman in a red-sun tanning bed laced with kryptonite.
  4. He needs a brit punk accent IMO.
  5. Acting classes needed on set STAT! Otherwise looks interesting.
  6. Step 1: Download music. Step 2: Burn the music on CDs, print out a label and put it in a case. Step 3: Donate money to OCR.
  7. Well, if they wanna keep making games, they need to make the story not end there. Also, I still think Megaman 10 would be the best bridge to megaman X.
  8. Plane tickets and hotel rooms for 3 weeks, and I think I can get it done.
  9. Hence why I like the original DS more than the DS Lite.
  10. I've been considering starting a blog recently. While it would not be only music and videogame related, I'd kinda like it to be part of a community that I've been a part of for over 6 years. So I hope that the blogs would not have to be restricted to music and videogames alone.
  11. By the way, it's also natural to worry about possible career paths in any field. Some fields experience booms, others are in a slump. Right now the pharmaceutical field is booming, but who's to say when that's gonna end.
  12. Everyone in a while, a thread here will remind me why I love the community here. However, I'm a long way from wherever Roanoke is so I can't help you.
  13. Actually, I feel Castlevania, especially early ones, was way too formulaic. Even now they are threading that ground. PoR was a move away from the formula, with the painting allowing the game to go beyond the original areas. It's a weakness in the game when you limit yourself to the castle way too much.
  14. I think this is the teaser part.
  15. Lego. I seriously hated these graphics...
  16. Here's something I learnt over time: Everyone's life is the hardest.
  17. Them being good at what they do does not mean that what they do is easy. Even being an English major can be a challenge, no matter what people say. The thing is, if you chose the right path in life, it's gonna be easier on you. So, it's not about a specific path, it's about what you get out of it.
  18. Trust me, there is no sure path when you follow a dream.
  19. I've said it before and I'll say it again: Battle of 1999 needs to be a RPG, and we need to see a direct relation between Hammer and Grant DeNasty.
  20. Well, it's just friendly ribbing. But yeah, the titles are from post count. But you are not your post count.
  21. Unless you plan on being a full time burger slinger, any career worth dreaming about is gonna be hard to achieve. It's that simple. Kids who want to be lawyers don't dream about being divorce and drunk driving lawyers. They wanna be the guys that have a real impact. Getting in law school might seem easy, but standing out and making a name for yourself is not that simple. It takes dedication, effort and passion. You can be a passionless teacher (we've all had those) or you can work hard to be a great teacher. One shows up for work, does what he has to do, and goes home. The other takes the time to do what he does the best he can. Musicians are the same. You can be a "soulless" musician, go to some weddings and such, and have no fire in your heart. Or you can put everything you can in your passion, and work hard to reach the top. (I'm not saying that wedding musicians are all soulless musicians, some have passion for what they do in any venue, I just needed a contrast.) So yeah, the music industry is hard to get into, but you don't see my name on any books in the library right now. (Well, except The Firm, but it's only luck that a character bears my name.)
  22. His argument does not stand because he imposes his logic while saying people are free to pursue due compensation for their work. This whole thing is wonkier than a 3 legged dog on LSD.
