  1. you genetically gifted sons of bitches. I hate you all.
  2. platinum is your only hope to get a drier sound due to the close mic position.
  3. you should do a cannibal corpse song next.
  4. In our track I am the one holding up progress. I have just been drained of inspiration lately... completely.
  5. Went to an ortho guy, I guess this is some kinda good news, he thinks my tears are minimal, maybe negligible. So that is good to know, but that means I've had pain for 5 months for some other reason. I'm going to do some physical therapy at an actual place for a month or so. I'm curious if they would ok me to do deadlifts. Of all the kinds of weightlifting that position is one that doesn't cause me any pain. Any overhead motion is a no go. But deadlifts, you're just pickin shit up and holding it for awhile. idk. I've been interested in doing those for awhile, and it doesn't look like I'll be going back to rings or pullups anytime soon.
  6. Have the best of birthdays, dear sir.
  7. Ok I know you guys are getting rejected by it but I think it actually deleted my VSTs.
  8. Does it automatically reject trance remixes?
  9. I wish there was a little more low end on the mix, there's not quite enough for me. Very clean mix, you won't have any problems with that, but almost a little too tidy in the low end. What in fuck's name is a pseudo-mod review? Also, speculating about whether it would get sent to the panel or not, and the DEGREE of panel criticism, is just plain silly
  10. I agree, linear isn't always bad. It depends if the game is fun. I've played Chrono Trigger countless times and that is very linear. On the other hand open-world sandbox games I tend not to play more than once through, despite all of the "freedom". The ones I replay the most are like Icewind Dale, where the game is linear but party creation gives tons of replay value.
  11. Does it still require a persistent internet connection? I'm guessing yes.
  12. Native Instruments Komplete Audio 6
  13. with the fresh new judges on the job a year and a half.
  14. I just want a way to tap into the OCR fanbase and let them access my crappy shit earlier than a year or two after submitting it. Whether or not people can rate it is fairly unimportant to me.
  15. No idea, I don't have a specialist yet. I just picked up the lab report and read it yesterday. I don't know anything about living with partial tears... will I be pain-free someday? Will I ever be able to resume normal exercising? Who knows. I don't want to make it worse. They don't seem to heal on their own from what I've read. By the same token I've read wildly varying stories of the efficacy of surgery. The labrum tear would explain why my shoulder pops and feels unstable. My right shoulder pops too, although no pain of any kind, and in a different direction. I wonder what an MRI would have found there.
  16. so I finally got an MRI for my shoulder. picked up the results today. I have a partial tear in the subscapularis, and a posterior labral tear. I'm going to get a box of wine, brb.
  17. It sounds more like industrial to me. What I notice is the arrangement is kinda sparse. Texturally there should be some more layers.
  18. I think I like the idea of a "like" better than a number rating system, otherwise people will obsess over their score. idk
  19. Seems to me there are 2 separate groups, people who want to post WIPs and get constructive feedback, and people who want to post finished tracks and reach an audience looking for remixes. There should be a system that satisfies both groups.
  20. Also new in 4.6 is the ability to reverse (horizontally) and invert (vertically) selected MIDI notes. More useful commands for your arsenal, you'll find these a time saver when constructing arpeggios and stuff. Running low on available keys yet? Having trouble remembering all the key commands you've made? I'm right there with you.
  21. You all are very fortunate that I will spare you my screechings.
  22. To be honest those sound like the words of a power-mad monopolist. I think an open alternative like the old VGMix, not the shadow it's become, would be a good thing. It's not like I would pick one or the other, I'd post on both sites.
  23. I always like when I can remix a theme that no one has done yet. Or at least hasn't been posted on OCR yet.
