  1. I suggest getting Scenarios 2 and 3 of the Shining Force Trilogy for the Sega Saturn. Good Stuff.
  2. I am now convinced that Mattias is a robot programmed to deliver solid ReMixes at a regular basis. AnSo must be a freaking codename or something. PS.: The voice sample OWNS this delicious mix.
  3. Funny thing, that’s exactly the image I had when I wrote this. And incidentally, the name “Suco de Melancia” (Watermelon Juice) is not inspired by the juice at all, but by the color of my girlfriend’s hair (which was red, but not actually RED, more like Watermelon Juice Red, if that makes any sense) at the time. Whole song is inspired by our daily life. Thanks again for the kind feedback everyone. PS.: BGC, I also LOVE freshly squeezed Mango Juice. I try to mimic it sometimes but all I get is a strange yellow… thing.
  4. Hojo is not going anywhere either, man. I mean, would you? =D I was quite happy with this song, it's probably the most personal ReMix I have ever done. Even tough I have a fair share of songs on OCR, this one marks my first 4Yes post, which (hopefully) means that I am starting to gain some consistency as an arrenger (something that was lacking in works like my beloved "Brinstar Bonsai Garden"). However, this IS quite old (I have a Remix waiting to be posted that is actually OLDER), so it might be time to put something fresh on air. Thanks for the kind comments everyone.
  5. Damn man, now I am not even sure of what to say to you. To hell with it, Happy Birthday.
  6. This is by far my favorite arrengement from Mazedude. The sound design, the interesting melodic and harmonic choices not only embrace EarthBound style of composition, but enchance it. The single golden pearl of this song, however, is the lead at 1:50 - amazing choice of sound and interpretation. Also, I can't lounge to this. Maybe Zombies can, tough.
  7. That's because it's a joke. I find it pretty much retarded that you can't see that.
  8. I never read Ender's Game, but I am completely blown away by the amount of detail, care and sophistication of these songs. It's not a secret that Sam is a composer who crafts his work with a lot of detail, and what we see here is this tendency developed to perfection. Inspirational stuff. Now go make music for real books. (Like Terry Pratchett DAMN IT!!!)
  9. Palpable should have been made judge ever since he subbed that Mystical Ninja ReMix. This is just OCR burocratic system trying to keep up with reality.
  10. Waiter, I'd like another one, please. I am very very pleased to see AnotherSoundscape getting posted, he is very talented and a madly dedicated artist, and this mix just makes that quite obvious. Congrats dude.
  11. To be quite sincere, me neither. However, I am really happy you liked the song. =D
  12. Not to mention pretentious. I have been listening to this song constantly in the last few days and I find it pretty damn tasty. I also think that the first half of the rapping distinctively better then the second one (maybe it's because the tone he uses while saying the first "you know that oil and water don't mix" - particularly in the word "mix" - is awesome, and he doesn't say it quite the same in the second time ) Anyways, nitpicking aside, this is awesome! Excellent work on all parts.
  13. There is a rare sense of sophistication and elegancy in this piece. One of Shnab's finest in my opinion. Sam, wherever you are´hope you are Ok, don't forget to drop a line when possible. Cheers!
  14. Yep, September 7th is our Independence Day. Which has, naturally, everything to do with FF7, and thus is the perfect date for the project release. I am sure zircon picked the date for that same reason.
  15. Hey, this be another exemple of Lost Woods taken seriously: http://www.zykomazika.com/Red%20Tailed%20Fox,%20zyko%20-%20Follow%20the%20Dreamhare%20(Ocarina%20of%20Time).mp3 ;P This project is awesome. Tepid should be informed since he is good with Zelda + Romantic music.
  16. Excellent. Some tasty sexy funk here, with a bit a prog flavor. Good source tune choice as well. The bossanova groove solo is absolutely sweet.
  17. Reason 2.5 back then. Right now, 3.0. But you can easily do better with Acid, IMO.
  18. He had. He spent most of it listening to Stravinsky and dreaming of becoming a rapper.
  19. The thing that pleased me most about this song were the details. Dale North shows an incredible capacity of polishing things, making little adittions. This is gives the song an certain aura of maturity, the arregment is very solid, sets a very clear direction, the build up to the vocals was perfect, I wouldn't be surprised if Celine Dion strated to sing on it (thankfully she didn't, Dale did). Very nice, very professional, very polished. Excellent.
  20. Creative, inventive, funky and fun as hell. One of my favorite from the whole project. Excellent work from excellent remixer. PS.: I just love the interpretation at 1:04. Can't help but to think of it as a "quote" of Sandopolis. It's great!
  21. Man, playing all Shining Force 3 senarios, in all it's glory... Don't even mention it. I tried playing them (actually finished the game) via Saturn emulation some months ago and it went pretty decently (tough some of the graphics were god horrible), even tough Saturn is hard to emulate, I think some emulators like SFF are coming rather nicely.
