  1. My cat likes to help me play TF2 these days. Notice the keyboard on my lap so he doesn't walk all over it.
  2. Maybe if the shirts had only one color of ink and were around $15-20, it'd be feasible. One reason I REALLY like this thread is that it encourages people to come up with sweet titles for their remixes. No more lame names. P.S. I nominate "Turd Surfers" for a T-shirt image.
  3. Thanks to this thread, I have now added five purchases to my Christmas wish list.
  4. Yeah but at least I rode the King in Faxanadu for all he's worth. "Oh snap, I'm out of funds. This hero thing came with free refills, right?" *DING!* You receive $1,500. AGAIN.
  5. I think last time NNY was around, Rama still had his thug sig with the bling "$" necklace. (which I miss, BTW) Look, I really like Chrono Trigger and all, but nobody other than Squeenix is charging $40 for a DS game. ESPECIALLY when you consider that it's essentially a port, not a new game. There's no way it took more resources/effort/money to create Chrono Trigger DS than it did to make most other new DS games. I would buy it at $30, think it's a steal at $20, and would consider (but pass) at $35. $40 is too much for a DS game unless it's The World Ends With You.
  6. What I would like to add/change in Fire Emblem: The biorhythm was a good idea, but executed horribly. The EFFECT biorhythm should have had is that you chose to use or not use certain characters depending on certain situations. Instead of using the same characters on every map, Fire Emblem should encourage sitting certain "all-star" players on certain occasions and using less-used characters ever once in a while. In most play-throughs, I only have 2-3 characters that I rotate, and the rest are used every map, but it'd be awesome if some maps were more heavily toward using one class. For example, if most enemies used swords one map, lances the next, then axes, etc. I realize they do this somewhat, but I'd like it if they did it more prominently and intentionally. I think biorhythm could have done the same thing without focusing on weapons, but it should have been easier to decipher. It should have just said, "Marth has -3 accuracy today, but tomorrow he'll have +3 accuracy" instead of a graph that meant nothing without looking up what it means somewhere else.
  7. I love me some Fire Emblem. It's one of the few games I buy on the day they come out. I keep thinking that if Fire Emblem DS is as much of an improvement over the GBA versions as Advance Wars DS was over its GBA editions, it should be ridiculously sweet. Of course, a new game from scratch would be even better, but I'm just pleased they keep sending these games State-side. Radiant Dawn didn't sell too well.
  8. Also, is that Easter Standard Time or the current time wherever you are these days? It's so hard to keep track of our play-by-play announcer.
  9. For those in the states, Target has the game on sale this week for $40. Other than that, there's also a STEAM option of getting 4 copies of L4D for $149.99, which is $37.50 a person. I think this forum might be a good place to facilitate a transaction like this if people are interested.
  10. Agreed. I also hate creepy atmosphere in games (Can't beat Resident Evil 4, and struggled to beat Half-Life), but L4D is awesome. Single player is really boring to me now though after several hours with the demo. I have tons of fun with online people (especially OCR people), but not AI teammates.
  11. Hahahaha I've played with you before. TF2? Maybe even longer ago than that? But I remember that handle. I even remember 2 exclamation marks (not to be confused with !!, aka "exclamation man") Looking forward to maybe playing with you again! Unfortunately, I'm going to be AFK for a week, so the demo will be over by the time I return. I don't think I can get this game before Christmas, so I have to wait.
  12. I can't believe I like this game. I usually do horribly at survival-horror games because I get scared, wet my pants, and never play again. This, on the other hand, makes we want more. I will probably leave work an hour early today so I can play L4D again one hour sooner. Playing with friends makes it way better too. Thank goodness a ton of OCR people became friends through Team Fortress 2 because now I join games with Dhsu, EdgeCrusher, and "He Who Smiles But Must Not Be Named." Then some of us got kicked out, and I was playing with Starla and Effef. If you downloaded the Left4Dead Demo but have no OCR friends, join the OCR group on STEAM to find us. We promise not to take all the (4) health packs!
  13. http://astore.amazon.com/overclocked02-20/detail/B000PS2XES ^ Get it on Amazon via OCR for $31.99 PLUS free shipping. PLEASE get yourself the Orange Box, The Damned, and play Team Fortress 2 with all of us. Also, enjoy Half-Life 2 (I just finished it this week) and the Episode 1 + 2 sequels. Last but certainly not least, play Portal and have your mind raped (but in a good, happy way). EDIT: As for STEAM, the reason I love it is that I've now played Team Fortress Classic and Day of Defeat on four different computers, and I lost the original CDs for those (one broke ) about 5 years ago. I bought them maybe 10 years ago.
  14. Well done. Please feel free to participate in other community topics on the OCR forums as well, for you have achieved your rite of passage. We look forward to hearing from you again soon. Congratulations! duckyboycantfly +1.
  15. I think we need to stop thinking, "Is this or is this not a spawn door?" and instead think "Does this prohibit people from fairly being able to counter?" If there is no other way of going from one place to another except through one small tunnel, hallway or door, then you shouldn't sticky camp there. Just because that tunnel, hallway or door doesn't directly connect to spawn doesn't mean that you can keep people pinned in and force them to push their way through. There's a big difference between keeping people out (around capture points) and keeping people in (near spawn), and if you don't allow one way to counter getting out (without requiring an uber), then fair play is interrupted and people stop having fun. With the server numbers dropping consistently, we should try to enable people to have fun, within reason.
  16. I suppose PM Powerlord and wait for a response to see if he likes you! (LOL@single-handedly bombing Powerlord's PM inbox without his knowledge)
  17. Everything you said is exactly correct. Except I have Disgaea for DS. Other than that I APPROVE OF THIS MESSAGE!
  18. What? I thought GTA began/revolutionized the sandbox genre...
  19. So what do you recommend for a guy-and-girl combo? Find another combo to play with instead of going 2-on-2 against the computer? I don't have friends, so this might suck.
