  1. Stupid Bish. You left the comma in the URL. God dammit jill
  2. Yes yes, you should all call in to the show! We've only received one voicemail so far this week so far. (But a whole bunch of emails, so thanks for that!) The number is 1-800-990-VGDJ. Seph: Rock on. Glad to hear you're listening. Broken: I, too, hope there will be more mixes posted soon, but Wingy and I are recording early this time because of busy weekend schedules, so... /me crosses fingers. Also, thanks for reminding us about the votes. It's March, and the votes have now been reset! Please ADD YOURS on www.podcastalley.com or from www.vgdj.net on the right-hand side of the page. (We'ww wuv you fowevew and evew... ) (Edited because I'm obsessive compulsive. ...And because I left in that damn comma. ^_~)
  3. It has nothing to do with Chrono Symphonic. The joke was spontaneous; Wingless doesn't even know Compy. And yes, he wasn't attacking the thread; he was attacking *me*. The first example starting on page 101, with another bout beginning on 107, and finally on 111- you will see it on numerous occasions, not just since episode 031. Liontamer, DarkeSword and DJP himself all had to ask him to shut up. And this is only in the past few weeks. You'll find plenty more if you look, I'm sure. But in any case, I didn't put John up to it, and what he did was purely for comedy's sake. Like I said, it's not going to come up again unless he provokes us with new material. As long as he minds his own business, as we, the mods, and the owner of this site have requested, it'll all blow over. WesPip: Azumangah and Katamari ftw! I think I'm gonna continue to use Azu for the Compo Report, because it just fits well. Katamari will pop up here and there, I'm sure. SosusOCR: Duhhh. I think you can trust us our ability to acknowledge when a joke is wearing off. ^_~ D-Lux: /me slaps
  4. Hip hip, Joséee! Glad you're around, even if you're busy. And yes, perhaps a *generic* German dude named Klauss can make an appearance here and there... ^_~
  5. Hehe, well... I'm not sure that's gonna happen, as funny as it was the first time. It was a spontaneous thing, and our goal with the show isn't to bash the guy. If he continues to flame this thread, maybe more jokes will spring up, but... So long as he minds his business, we're not gonna pursue it.
  6. ^ Hehe, double post. (Oh wait, not anymore.) In other news, I'm grumpy because I recently ordered a USB mic by Logitech in order to record the shows faster (because currently I record on my mini disc on have to import the files, which takes a while). And anyway, it came today, but it's TEH SUCK! I mean, seriously. Noise canceling my arse! And it's really quiet, too, even when at maximum input. My 20th birfday is this Saturday, and I have a performance Friday night, so Wingless and I might have to record the next show earlier than usual in order to allow time for editing. He is the busy as well. That being said, me hopes djp will post another mix or two soon!
  7. Hey, if you had large breasts, you'd do good work too I don't have large breasts...
  8. Yeah, something like that would be fun. The only thing is, last time Rayza and Aurora tried to have an intro contest, there was very little interest. Hardly anyone actually stepped up to the challenge of submitting. So we'd have to get a sense of how many people would actually wish to contribute.
  9. somebody help me /me gags Dougla Wheeee, glad y'all liked the show! Nobody has posted their Yes/No vote on the new intro issue so far, though. What do you guys think? Should we change it? If so, suggestions? Entries?
  10. VGDJ Episode 032 has been released on WWW.VGDJ.NET! As you will hear in the show, we're setting up a "hypothetical poll" (because GenDisc polls can only be created by mods) as to whether or not we should change our intro. Please post your Yes/No vote! And if it's a yes, suggestions or your own personal submissions are welcome. Also, don't forget to VOOOOOOOOOTE when the new month begins! And lastly... We've finally archived our stinger collection, by popular demand. Enjoyyyy!
  11. Aww, it's not that bad. That was always true with Rayza and Aurora, too. And I edited out I think all but two instances of that.
  12. Gonna be a fun show this weeeeeeeeeeeeeeek... Short but sweet. We fixed the mic issues, too.
  13. Awesome, thanks! (Remember to vote for us on podcastalley.com in a few days when March begins!)
  14. Y'alls are wack.
  15. wtf... It's true. wtf dougla?! You're going doooowwwwwn.... I like what colorful language Pixietricks uses. It makes her human, and a bit more relatable to a lot of us that listen. The occasional curse is no big deal, and I don't see what the big deal is. Damn straight! But don't worry, DrumUltimA was kidding, at least. He = best fwiend.
  16. wtf... It's true. wtf dougla?! You're going doooowwwwwn....
  17. ....I said "holy fuck" and "jackass" in a span of 41 minutes. What is so unusual about that?
  18. Bleep bloop blop. Conversation's getting a little redundant. Remember, you can always email us at vgdjpodcast@gmail.com or leave us TEH VOICEMAILZ at 1-800-990-VGDJ for comments and suggestions. <3
  19. I love it! To me, whatever imperfections exist are completely overshadowed by the arrangement and overall style of this mix. If anything, it only adds to the charm. Catchy!
  20. A modern-day forum prophet. Hail. More like "heil"...
  21. Haha, well said, Wingless. I'm all for some wacky new features. But hmm, how to make the intro less "gay"........ I KNOWWWW! Let's just change our name to The J.J. Show™! Haha!
  22. Haha, w00t, that wasn't even planned. Anyway, see my point there? ^_~ And yeah, I think Larry just about summed up all the great things about the RRR: spans a variety of games, remixers, and gives people a little taste of OCR history. If we didn't read out the names of each individual mix in the running, nobody would hear those things. And besides, it would be kinda bland without the game.
  23. Hmmm, sorry you feel that way, but as I said... Unless more people express annoyance with the way we do the RRR, I think that's gonna stay the same. It's fun, and most people seem to enjoy it as is. Either way, the ReMix Reviews will definitely keep the same format. You're right, it does also have to do with time factor. But even if not every clip is long enough to impress someone, it's certainly better than playing them all the way through, which forces people to listen to the whole thing even if they don't dig it. I know that a bunch of people already skip over the actual music portion of the RRR for that reason. Sometimes it's better to play the tease. Maybe it would help to look at it this way: the ReMix Reviews are actually just a subset of the community news. This is the music that has been released this week; we're just keeping people up to date, ja? I really appreciate all the thought you've put into this stuff, TCK, so I hope you don't feel like we're just shooting down your ideas. It's great to hear a fresh perspective, because it helps us evaluate the effectiveness of our current format. Change requires time, but right now is the perfect opportunity for a little turnaround. Any new sections you guys might want to see on the show?
