If you have OCReMixes, those are mostly illegal. Pretty much no one on this site has permission to do arrangements of these themes, let alone release them - probably not even The Fat Man and his 7th Guest mix for which he wrote the original music (which is most likely owned by Virgin Interactive Entertainment). So given that right there, I wouldn't be too worried about. I don't see this site being shut down anytime soon. And there's really no way to tell what's pirated if you can't see their CD/DVD collection back home. I'm not too worried about it. Just be sure to not steal so much stuff that you get flagged! Moderation, people!

I'm a bassist and I can read music. Lord.Roderick.i, get a cheap bass. Like an Ibanez Soundgear. Really good bass for not a lot of money. But yes, you'll need an amp. Check pawn shops and stuff. You can get a cheap small amp for under $200. You gotta put some money into this if you're serious and if you're serious you'll be more motivated to learn. Get the bass and amp and then go from there.

José, that's not a tag. It's just a decrescendo and then a crescendo. See my previous example for what a tag is. Yeah, false ending is fine. Not sure why we're still talking about all of this! How did a deceptive cadence get wrapped up in all of this!?

The original track that was pointed out - I wouldn't call that anything really. It doesn't seem like it's going to end because the "suspended cymbal" comes in right there at the end of the flute riff so I know something else is going to happen. The Mario Paint one - that definitely has a false ending. There are also "tags." For an example, go to www.noballsnoglory.net and listen to Dale North's "Knight Rider with Soy Sauce." At the end, that's called a tag.

There's only one track that I don't really "love," but it's still a good track and actually helped me remember an exit near my house that I always miss (the airport exit is 78, and the name of the song I'm talking about is "Back In '78"). So I'd recommend it (or I wouldn't have it). Also, either or both sound good for the game and the PS1. I wouldn't charge extra for shipping on those together. Let me know if you're interested and I'll mark them off for you. I'll even through in the CD if you get both.
