25 awesome years. Looking forward to the "Harmony of a Hunter" album from www.shinesparkers.net. Hoping Nintendo also has something up their sleeve like the Zelda concert series tour. Super Metroid is still my favorite game so this is a pretty awesome milestone for me. I still remember the first time I got to the Mother Brain - it was the middle of the night on a school night and the music and sheer size of her character freaked me the fuck out! Followed by the panic of escaping from the self-destruct sequence in time - Super Metroid was the only game of that 16-bit era that really made me feel like *I* was the character. I love that about it. What's your favorite Metroid memory? ......

Are we talking about SYNTH synthetic sounds? What about a ROMpler? I mean, if it's a friggin' recording of a Fender Rhodes built into a playable "sample," how is that different than having that Fender Rhodes on your recording? I also hate the hardcores because they speak as if the impression is that Dave Grohl should change his drums on EVERY song, along with using a DIFFERENT guitar on every song and maybe even having a different vocalist on EVERY song. RIGHT?!

2 is great. 1 is great. 3 is great. Tried 4 but never got past the first couple of hours. Loved (most of) the movie. I think it's the best video-game-turned-movie -- I think the use of the original soundtrack made up 50% of the experience for me. Here's hoping this one follows suit.

I get what you're saying, dude. You are part of the 100% of people who demand .FLAC and complain about it because .MP3 isn't good enough. I've never seen people who discuss .FLAC not bitch about it because of this, that or the other. Just my observation. And I totally get if you pay for something, you want to make sure it's right. But there's so much free music out there with people putting it out there for free that when we start complaining about it we start to sound absurd. (note: I recognize this hypocrisy of my own re: Facebook. Fucking Facebook! GRAH!) Sorry, dude. I normally wouldn't say anything but I'm all hopped up on Red Bull and I just always think people crabbing about .FLAC sound snooty. Coulda just said, "Hey, guys! Love all the free music! I noticed something with the .FLACs - why are some missing in some projects? Anyone got any insights?" as opposed to "This is troubling me," "would it be unacceptable to require a certain degree of quality in how it is released?" and "I propose..." YOU PROPOSE snootykins

Love these last two posts. Squadala! I have to agree that I would like to see a Western studio go at it. I've always hated the silent protagonist thing. It's also 2011 - there's no need to read anymore. Everything can be voiced-acted not crappily. I want to see a mature Zelda game with some serious action. Yes, there's "Collosus" and this new "Darksiders" but I want that Zelda music and familiar characters. Oh, if only... BUT I DON'T WANT THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: OTHER Z KTHXBAI
