The point is having a goal to work towards and a deadline to meet. I know, at least for me, I can only make good music when I have those constraints. It's a lot harder to finish a track if you have no incentive of finishing it in x days. Like I said, no big deal either way.

I kinda doubt it, but would there be any way to match us up? I ask simply out of the convenience of the situation (we live in the same apartment complex). No biggie if not.

Great idea. I'm in grad school. I wear a size small (women's sizes) for most things. I like colorful cartoony games with substance (Zelda, Pokemon, Dragon Quest, etc) I love plushies. I am allergic to tree nuts, but not peanuts. (Last year someone sent me cookies and it was really hard not to eat them until I had verified that they would not send me to the hospital.) I like jewelry, but not the flashy or tacky kind. I like electronic music (specifically trance and dubstep). I own a few game systems (PS3, Wii, 3DS, PSP, N64, PS2, GBA/GBC, NES/SNES. Also, I have a Steam account) My apartment is severely underdecorated. I think that's hopefully enough info for whoever happens to be unlucky enough to get me.

I would legitimately love that gift. He makes such awesomely terrible movies! Also, I've been told I do his meme-face disturbingly well.

I get most of my studying done to either Phutureprimitive, The Glitch Mob, or Deadmau5. None of them really focus on strong melodies, which is what makes it so easy to study to them; it's something interesting to listen to without taking too much focus away from other things.

At some point (think months in the future), I plan on doing a progressive trance remix using all of the lighthouse themes. I can post in here if I ever get around to starting it; I've got a lot on my plate with school and prior remix commitments. But I've wanted to do a lighthouse remix for a while.

I'm starting to do some research into building my own computer, mainly to use with fl studio. Anyone have any opinions on the following: AMD or Intel? RAM recommendations? CPU speed/good processors to overclock(and max speeds)? Quality sound card recommendations? Power requirements(if more power-heavy components are suggested)? Thanks!

The Japanese soundtrack is catchy, but the US soundtrack has depth, and both are fantastic. I can't wait to hear the remixes.

I'd say interpretation is how closely you fit the round's theme. Again, just a guess.

How much you used material from the track you picked, and also how much you altered it and made something new but still recognizable. That's my idea, at least.
