I was leaning towards Quartz Quadrant anyway; I was really happy to see it unclaimed. Also, I am tentatively interested in this:

i'm so in! i'd like to remix quartz quadrant (us), the bad future theme is one of my favorites. though, the special stage (us) is great too, so i'm not 100% sure which i'd prefer. in either case, count me in for one of the remaining american tracks!

you should still submit whatever you have so far. no matter how bad you may think it is, i guarantee you learned at least 1 thing while working on it.

I suppose I could help out as a star. I don't have a ton of time but I could help out with production/critique. Let me know if I'm needed.

Off the top of my head, I mostly use trance pluck 2, silver saw, formant, square purity, glass bell, pulstar, oceaxe. I usually turn off sytrus' reverb and delay and use effects instead, and there's a modulator on oceaxe I turn off cause the squiggly sounds in it are annoying. I use a lot of filters and other effects though.

My thoughts exactly. Though I'm trying to look on the bright side, cause if I continued I'd still probably only have 1-2 days of free time during each round.

Last week I started my track Friday night. To me, at least, I get more done knowing that I only have a limited time left. It at least helps you get some material out, which is the hard part. Once you have literally any material, it's easy from there, just gotta make it sound good. Don't give up!

That's cool. Apparently I just like to bitch about things when I'm drunk.

Grad school + side job = 1.5 days to make a mix. Not trying to make excuses, but that's what happened. Also i thought source usage trumped production, but maybe i was mistaken. Anyway, i probably dont have time for later rounds anyway so ignore my bitching plz.

At this point in the compo i'm a bit frustrated. But i have to look at it from two viewpoints: My opponent is amazing. I have no free time. So as much as i hate how my vote is going, i accept it for now. Someday i will become great and awesome and win one of these comos!

I just woke up. Feeling a bit crappy cause I stayed up til 7am working on mine. I really wish I could've started earlier than Friday, but I think I'm decently happy with what I submitted. I'd say it's an impressive effort considering I made it in 2 days.

i think i'm pretty much done. just gotta make sure everything's as loud as it should be and then i'll render my wav.

also i apparently have been listening to far too much trance, since my track is now 8:00. time to render and see what i need to remove...

my song is kinda 3-4 distinct songs smashed together. not sure if that's good or not.

hope everyone likes dubstep as much as i do.

i just finished playing through this a few months back. that scene just made no sense.
