I know I talked with a few people about this last year, but we should set up a group chat during Magfest. There's a great app for Android (not sure about other OS's) called GroupMe, basically it's like texting and a chatroom combined. I think it could be extremely useful for people to meet up with each other, since Magfest can get kind of hectic and groups can be separated easily, plus not everyone has everyone else's phone number.

A few years ago, before I really knew how to remix, I did a demo of Airship Fortress. I may try to clean that up if it ends up on the tracklist, or I can start a new mix.

Does that mean a reunion show?

Looks like Stevo's interested in getting in on this album. Anyone who's interested in him as a vocalist/performer on their track should contact him. If no one volunteers, I'll work him into my own remix. I don't want overlaps of remixers or performers on this album, so I'd prefer that person can't be on two tracks in the same role.

I just want to say how great it feels to read all your commments! I had a blast working on this track, and I was lucky enough to get my favorite source to work with even though I joined the project pretty late. Some of my major musical influences are Evanescence and Above & Beyond/Oceanlab, and I think that this track combines elements of both artists as well as my own personal style. I definitely plan on doing more work in this style!

I'll put down an extremely tentative claim on Kolima Forest.

I really wanted to get something in for this. I'll keep trying but it's not looking so great. Every time I boot my mixing computer any program I try to run freezes and crashes. I think it might be my ssd. All my important stuff's backed up to Dropbox and/or not on that drive, but it's looking like I won't have anything in by the due date. *sadface*

Don't get your heart set on a mix from me. I haven't started one yet and I currently have no idea what I would even mix, or even the style of mix.

I won't be able to attend this listening party, but I'd love to see the chatlog/hear the recording after the fact, like what SupX did for last week's party.

For me, I think it was Ecco 2: The Tides of Time for Game Gear. Terrible game, great (but short) soundtrack. My search for a Vortex Future remix was what brought me to OCR in the first place, and since I couldn't find one it ended up being my first full remix.

The only remixing slot left is for Super Sonic Racing, but there are a few performer slots left. Sorry I forgot about you volunteering, but if it helps I didn't actually contact anyone about this project when I posted it...

Just an FYI that I will probably be moving back the tentative WIP due date. To those who didn't already know, within the last month I moved to Chicago and started working full-time, and I have a huge backlog of commitments to do before starting this project. So no rush to anyone who's already committed, just don't completely forget that you're going to give me awesome music eventually!

So what's the status of the group buy? It looks like I'm 95% definitely in for this year.

Gotcha. I plan on redoing the vocals at some point and submitting that track. I'll pay close attention to the highs when I get to it.
