  1. Aahahahaha, you made my day now Wes damn my slow connection though, this'll take days
  2. What Drack said, really. This shows us that you care and we like people caring :3
  3. Beatdrop knows what he's doing. Great synths all around and a solid beat. The lo-fi drums during the intro took my by surprise but it was a welcome intro indeed. Squelchy bass together with heavily reverbed and delayed synths makes the mix sound very big, almost too big at times in my opinion. The stutter fills worked great and acted as a break from the huge soundscape that Dain built up. The leads had a lot of character, especially the one entering with full volume at 01:13. Interesting breakdown at 01:43, feels almost like a chiptune in it's nature. Heavily modulated synths all around, might be too much for some. The stutters that follow are pure genious and helps the "main part" at 02:25 sound extremely big indeed, the ravers would go crazy. Very dynamic arrangement. While I personally think this remix is a bit heavy on the detuned synths with a bit too much delay and reverb it's still an exceptional remix that shows how to make a great trance arrangement and still keeping it fresh. Major props.
  4. And suddenly I like this thread again
  5. Your sig makes me appreciate it a bit tho..
  6. Merry belated christmas people :3
  7. Underwear, a lot of underwear. We also (FINALLY) got wireless internet at my mom's place so I can connect my DS and my laptop without hassle. Other than that I bought myself a new 500GB FW800 harddrive for music-purposes and pretty much every ReasonBanks (www.reasonbanks.com) refill made. :3
  8. Tweek delivers! Brian makes great use of the gated pad coupled with some heavily reverbed percussion elements and they all seem to fit perfectly together. You can tell a lot of time was spent making this an atmospheric piece and Brian succeeded. The Guitar is a welcome touch that helps to keep the mix from going stale. Very laid back, not much changing up during the remix but this is so pleasing on the ears that you just don't care. I especially enjoy the glockenspiel, a sound I also tend to use a lot. Great stuff from Tweek, lovin' it.
  9. Very interesting take on the source. As always with Mazedude's work it's top notch production coupled with a very creative arrangement. I can get bored with the single string, it tends to be a bit to forward for me. The synth leads are great, especially the one at about half the tune with the C64-esque modulation and delay. Solid stuff from Mazedude.
  10. You will quote me to death Jill Keep us updated on potential release-date
  11. I will have to get this. I'm an ethnic whore. And with great singing? It's a no-brainer.
  12. Damn, Shariq's GOOD. A very interesting blend of sounds and a solid arrangement full of quirks and interesting melodic passages. This is piece is a really interesting listen. When the percussion and strings starts playing triplets you can really hear how clever this arrangement is. It's constantly changing the feel of the rhythm in a way that doesn't seem forced or unfitting and that's something I really appreciate. Production is good, mood is great but arrangement is where this remix stands proud. Great work Mr. Ansari.
  13. Wait what? That's way more than I thought! Stop being so goddamn generous
  14. Honest to god, zircon's album The World Circuit
  15. That's a horrible idea! EDIT: Where can I get moar of these!?
  16. Why yes, yes it is. You know not everyone is a native english speaker
  17. Be warned, it's not like Brainwork. Get it anyway!
  18. Okay, I listened. I like this. Some tracks are not as listenable as Brainwork but hey, that's not the point. I like Red Sector, Obelisk Run and You're Only Ever Asleep a lot. Reminds me of múm. Mmmm, múm. Stuff of legends!
