  1. Ok, I'm getting very excited for the new Warlock talents. The last one in destruction looks incredible. And the last one in Affliction is very...tricky. I like it.
  2. Wow, Zelda got pushed to the bottom? I like Zelda... Not that I actually play in tournaments or anything.
  3. So...are you actually a cheater or what? EDIT: Wait, so Blood Elves can't be warriors because they're a magical race...and yet they can be rogues? What?
  4. Guess I might as well. Server: Boulderfist (PvP) Name: Tridius Level 51 Undead Warlock
  5. [Common] bur Speaking of foreign wow languages, I think it's sad how people figured out how to actually make it so the opposite side can read an actual sentence from your language haha. [Common] U LO SE?
  6. I for one think this sucks. I don't know...it just seems like they gave up on trying to balance things and took the easy way out by making all the classes available to both factions. I am not looking forward to fighting shamans... Also, I don't want Blood Elves. The twelve-year-olds can stay on the alliance. EDIT: Imagine Undead fighting alongside paladins. Won't that be a sight to see...
  7. I agree with this statement wholeheartedly. I think it would be too much of a risk to try to change things up too much. Why fix what's not broken? Which is funny, because that kind of mentality is exactly what Nintendo is opposing with the Wii. Still, though, I say let the others games be "revolutionary". Don't screw around with SSB.
  8. I'm glad that not all characters will be returning. After all, there are some useless ones that no one really used, such as Pichu and Mr. Game & Watch. I don't like that they're making the game "easier", though. To me, that translates to "dumbed down", which a lot of series, particularly Nintendo ones, seem to be doing. I'd rather keep it at least somewhat complex, so that it can be more than just a simple party game. I'm all for just having fun, but tournaments and such are good too.
  9. I really hope they take wavedashing out for Brawl as well...especially since it was almost certainly not meant to be used in the first place. Actually, I've heard that the debuggers actually found it and left it in. I see no real problem with it, to be honest. It's not like some n00b can pick it up and start doing it to ace a veteran, and even after practicing for a while, it still takes a long time to be able to do effectively. What, pray tell, is this "wavedashing"? I think it's when you air dodge towards the ground so that you hit it mid-dodge. It makes you character shift in the direction that you were dodging. I guess it's good to follow it up with...something. I never really used it. But then again, I'm not good enough to play in a real tournament.
  10. For those who still feel like submitting, Masahiro Sakurai will only be accepting submissions until June 9th at 5:00 pm Japan time. This is probably just the Square-Enix fan in me talking, but I'd like to see Sora make it into SSBB.
  11. Yeah. And while several genres seem to work really well with the wii-mote (especially FPS, of course ), fighting games aren't one of them. There'd be nothing intuitive about it. I'm sure everyone was relieved when they announced it wasn't gonna use the wii-mote. I know I was. It just...wouldn't work. About Final Destination, I like it as a stage. I agree, though, that it definitely favors some characters over others. I think the tiers do exist, but they're amplified quite a bit when played on Final Destination, no items.
  12. I've decided. Metaknight is my new character. I'm so glad he's included in the next one.
  13. If anything, I think Boo definitely needs to be a character. He could have all kinds of tricky attacks where he vanishes and reappears. He would be a great jumper, but lacking in traction. Since he can't do much with his scrawny hands, lots of his attacks could involve his oversized tongue
  14. Who? I don't recall any boss named Penance in FFX...unless you're talking about a game other than Final Fantasy X.
  15. I donno. I actually found Ultima Weapon to be harder. Then again, they're both pretty easy if you have plenty of Holy Wars.
  16. it's definitely a good mix, although it feels a bit wierd hearing the Gerudo Valley theme with lyrics. I mostly agree with what's be said...especially with the ending. Yeah...not so great there.
  17. Wow... This is...definitely unlike anything I've heard here as of set. And as such, it's very cool. It's kind of more ambiance than anything, but I think it's done very well. The voices are both creepy and compelling at the same time. Very nice.
  18. Yeah...great song and all. Liked it. 8.5/10 But...this is annoying me. I can't seem to recognize it. Can someone tell me what part of the game the original is heard? EDIT: Actually...this is more like a 9.5/10. But no one has told me when the original is heard in-game! Why must you torture me so??
  19. I'm kinda just echoing what most other people are saying...but yes, Protricity's mix was much better. It's not horrible but...I'll just say it's not something I'll be listening to over and over...at all. In fact, I probably won't listen to it ever again. All right, I hated it. It was too much of a departure from the original, and the ending was too abrupt. See this statement right here? It is now officially a lie.
  20. I've yet to find a bad remix of DK2 music. It remains one of my favorite SNES games, and remixes such as this will forever remain my favorites. This track is beautiful. Great job. 10/10.
  21. I really liked this one. This theme just never gets old, and it's always nice to hear well-done remixes of it. It's not quite Gerudo Interlude caliber, but it's damn close. Keep up the good work!
  22. This remians one of my favorite mixes on the site. I've listened to a lot of Zelda 64 mixes and this is one of the only ones that struck me as being more then mediocore. Keep up the great work .
  23. Hmm...well, the first time I listened to this, I was doing other things, so I wasn't really listening very intently. After that, I was getting ready to post a bad review of this mix, but I decided to listen to it again, just to be fair. That said, I didn't think it was a bad mix...but it definitely didn't blow my mind. To me...it just seemed to linger. I didn't really draw any feeling from it. I think it's good, but it's nothing I'll listen to over and over. But that's just me.
