I've never had any problems with Daemon Tools.

I think that people don't feel very obligated to work very hard if you give them a wide open theme, like in a previous FLMC that had "Sadness" as the theme. We might want to stick to a single source or theme like the previous contests. Since you've already suggested Megaman and Godzilla why don't we choose one of those soundtracks to work with?

It might also be a compatibility issue with the sampling rate, rather than the bit rate. Some OCRs (such as this) were encoded at 48kHz but my mp3 player only supports 44.1kHz. Note that I am not really sure what's going on here, I am merely recounting my own experience with this kind of thing.
