  1. You mean that weird giant pile of junk that can split up and become alot of nasty little kids? Yep, I remembered that...thing... Anyhow, GREAT organ. If you have played FF9, then this must certainly remind you of Garland, they both sound so similar! But I dont recognize that part around 1:07, that melody, isn´t that one for someone among tha bad guys? But my best part when that cool synth came into the picture and turned up the tempo and adrenaline, so awesome. Again, also reminds me of FF9, Trance-Kuja. This was a great techno/orchestric remix, including small laughters from those...things...brrrr. Very good one, mp-dude.
  2. A very jazzy mix, it has the sax that automatically makes it jazzy, but also the synth and those beats making this mix little more funky, but with the strings it doesn´t get too funky. The piano in the beginning puts some class into it, resulting in a mix suitable for many different persons. I´m sorry to hear that. Of that I´ve heard now, I can say that he was a good remixer. ( John. 5:28,29)
  3. FF3 is the only game I never have completed, plus FF8 but my bro completed that one for me so I know how the end is. ANYWAY, I recognize this song, and yes, it does has some lovely trance sounds to it. It´s one of the better ones on this site, some cool synths with beats and techno stuff making their sounds in the background, it´s techno alright, and for those who adore that style, no need to hesitate for them, this one is solid.
  4. Now THIS brings back memories! This one of the happiest and most calm track in the game. A pretty village out in the wild with thousands of monsters standing outside the walls waiting, but the town theme is still happy! I like their attitude. For the remix: Noppz have made it again, a super mellow remix that just want you to hang up your hat and sit down with your feet on a pillow and lie back. Noppz has captured the spirit od relaxness and stuffed it into a remix for everybody to enjoy. AAhhh....Well done.
  5. Dude, I just want to say congrats. Not only you managed to write a small self-biography that was 100 sentences long, you fulfilled your dream. You tried to reach it again and again and got knocked down again and again, but still you didn´t want to give up. You got some advice, made some new friends, and at the end you finally got that little place on OCR prooving that you´re now a remixer, OCR-style. That was a very rough summary I guess, but you sure showed some spirit to achieve your goal. I´m also would want to learn how to remix some day, but if I have to go through all that maybe I´ll pass. Yeah, I know, "Better to have remixed and failed than never remixed at all", you´re a fighter Nazgul, no questions about that, you deserves this title. Trés bien Nazgul, tu est un remixer magnifique. Meilleur travaille! See? I can do long stuff too, but those who also wants to be remixers or just curious abou the life of Nazgul, you should read his review. Oh, right, the mix. Very weird, you had a whole arsenal of different sounds swirling around, truly reflects the panic and disorder among the goons of Leblanc. Different, funny, and worth a download. Give a listen, maybe many, and you´ll like it.
  6. I think I know that track, that one is very similar to this one, unfortunately too similar, it was like listening to the original. If Russel puts some more instruments in this, he can do some real cool things, but with just strings, harp and flutes there´s no big changes, even drums would help a bit. Anyhow, good song. Add some more and it will be majestic.
  7. Very cool, the final aeon has finally gotten its own theme, and here it is! It´s jamming, thrashing, rocking and at some parts beautiful. Als o that the Hymn of the faith was into this was quite the surprise too, that´s a meloow song that fits with harps and possible flutes or somethin´, but not guitars!? And the other original tracks, I haven´t heard anything from the other reviewers, but if you think of the name to this remix, I believe it must be either the final battle music or the music to the battle with aeon-jecht. Or maybe it´s both, both of them kicks, so the result combining them could surely become this thing. Impossible? Not for Jared Hudson. Great work!
  8. This is the best remix with lyrics I´ve heard! Normally, I don´t prefer mixes with lyrics, because they steal the attention from the music, but this one: WOW. The lyrics had some depth in themselves, and they didn´t pop up everywhere, so there was plenty of music left for music-diggers like me. Great work, GL, Seph and Pixie. I´m looking forward to a possible next work from you dudes + dudette.
  9. Very great stuff from Sal here, Auron´s theme should and always shall be played with a nice guitar or at least an instrument with some strings. I recognized an other song too, that one around the end, that´s sounds like the ending theme. It does sounds like Zanarkand too of course, they have the same melody, BUT the piano beginning from 3:14 is from that one, I´m sure it is. To sum it all up, great work from Sal, you can hear he´s a pro, and....what do you mean he´s a newcomer?
  10. I´m really do love an enjoyable piano remix, so my grade gets a little affected, so here goes: THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST MIXES ON THE SITE, I LOVE THAT PIANO OF YOURS, YOUR GREAT ORKYBASH! OK, it gets much affected but it is great song, if only Tidus or someone brought a synth with them, this one could be it in the game. It´s so unfair, they can fit 267 weapons and a blitzball in their pockets, but not a synth?
  11. You think so too, eh? The "waves" sounds a little too much in the beginning, or at least so much that it gets annoying. However, the orchestric music in the back with some nice drums really speaks to me, and when the waves goes away, the only thing left is a nice electric guitar to spice this ballad up. This mix is a lttle sad, and those who played the game probably know why. Thanks again Kaijin, for an another well done remix.
  12. The prelude goes TRANCE! It has already have actually, but this is the first time I say it. A good one, has the standard stuffings. Some nice beats, trancish synths with some strings/another synth in the background with a climax at the end and with a voice repeting some times. Bad? NOOOOoooo.........ooooOOOO! Another mix from an another dj. OHYEAH!
  13. Then why is it in the remixes for FF1? To the song. GREAT! Had many of the best tracks from FF and made it to a mix that has great tempo, rhytm, piano and that weird feeling of Sephiroth´s prescence, heh. Those bells that played the theme of Kuja really fitted with that LB-piano, everything went so smooth and the remix so great that I´m gonna pass out...> slam < ... ... ... OK, I´m back. Great song Kyshad!
  14. Yeah, have to agree with zirc here, I have played this game and I recognize that "piano". Maybe it isn´t the exact one, but it sounds very familliar. I did get that orchestric feeling, but it sounds like the conductor is Donald Duck. If you just try, I bet you can make it sound like Beethoven or someone else in that category.
  15. That synth reminds me of "Tidus theme" from FF10, ain´t that weird? Probably not, but he sure didn´t have a drumsolo like these, and together with that piano, it sure made this one beautiful, eh? Eh? ... I´m just gonna stop talking...
  16. Stunning, beautiful, magnificent...Many words for such a remix, but only one word can describe such a masterpiece. Unfortunately we haven´t discovered that word yet, but when we will, I will make a new review and put it in there, that I will. Although there are alot of songs it doesn´t get overstuffed with melodies that goes into each other and...well...it sure wouldn´t sound like this. But one thing hit me when I saw the original songs: "What the...!? Noone of these are from FF1?" This remix would more fit in like a mix from FF6 or FF7, but not as FF1. (Review #200, WOOOO)
  17. This was...alot of sounds dude. How many synths are there, 5? Felt they at some points didn´t fit, but there were some real good moments with some nice techno swirling around.
  18. Yep, me too. This song is one of the happiest themes in the game, and to make this sound like a funeral really needs some skills. Luckily, demi0s had, and he did a respectful anthem of that, excuse me, old hag. Death affects us all, not even videogame characters slip away. I bet one of the brooms did it.
  19. This a MIDI-explosion of a FF1 track! AARGH!
  20. Now that´s a surprise. For being a prelude, JH sure could draw some real cool stuff out of it, like a wizard with a hat stuffed with bunnies. Begins with a calm harp and ends with the same, but it´s the middle that´s so awesome. In one moment he plays some real thrashing guitar and in the next he throws it away to have some hands to play some piano and sax. We have respect packed into a remix here people!
  21. VERY good rave-mix, until I got to 1:24, that synth just killed the whole thing, but I managed to listen to the music behind the synth, and that was real good. Although this is a FF1 remix, that prelude sounds suspiciously much like the prelude from FF7. Hmmm?
  22. Never expected that the beginning of fantasy had groovy beats. Overall, a nice, flowing mix with some strings that gives this mix that touch of orchestral that so many of us reviewing dudes adore. But it was first at 1:22 that I actually heard the prelude, the rest was beautiful but hardly recognizing, but it may just be old fantasyless me, great work mp.
  23. A good one, has the tempo that really makes it into a battle theme, but I didn´t really like the improvised guitarplay, sounded a little weird. The drums were practically all over the place during the mix, Duque made a good rock-mix for beeing a beginner, I say well done.
  24. Now THIS is a mix worth the temple of chaos! Magnificent piano followed by some tharshing guitars, AWESOME! Yes, I agree with the others that this could be longer, but it is 2 minutes long, you can fit some real good music right there dudes, and Kaijin has obviously succeded with that. Great work making a beautiful beginning and a more jamming follow-up, Kai-dude.
  25. Hey, show some respect, a whole party has just died. I felt it sounded beautiful with the piano and that stringinstrument, very respectful and some real good strings in the back along with those drums that gave this one a teenie weenie oriental touch. Trés bien, Graylightning.
