  1. Thank you, just doing my job, but still thank you. This is a great remix, but my expressions were all out, so I did a customized cliché.
  2. As if the original isn´t fast enoughm FFMDJ made it go at full speed with an arrangement so great that my legs still haven´t stop moving after all this rhytm. Jenova does a good trance, good thing he remixed it for us so that we finally can enjoy the result of our wish-thinking. It has all the necessary, this has gone directly up to my trance-list at position #1. Thanks again, FFMDJ. Now lets DANCE!
  3. VERY impressive pianoplay, although this may not be as fast as the original, this still have some power left in it, you have to draw out it, Noir did that successfully, so I´m just gonna download his remix, thank him for this excellent masterpiece of pianoarrangement, and then go away. Thank you Noir for this excellent masterpiece of pianoarrangement. :leaves:
  4. Nevr thought this track could become a trance-hit, the ways of Beatdrop is unpredictable. It may be overstuffed with many noises, instruments, beats and other creations of drop, but then it just wouldn´t be a trance, would it? I wasn´t a big fan for the synth beginning at 0:55, a little too screechie, but I admire BD for making this remix sound like a bossmusic when the original is a funny melody playing when Cloud and the group has dressed up. But clearly my best part is when my the second melody tunes in at 2:17, that´s the best part with the original track. THAT synth I liked very much, mmmyyesss. GREAT stuff mr Drop.
  5. Kind of obvious that Sephfire´s first remix should be of Sephiroth. To be his first, really astounding. At first I didn´t think that he would do a better remix that Above the Rising falls, but this one is close enough to be equally good. Great stuff, synths, strings, together with a real cool and good piano, my favorite. Significant stuff, Sephdude.
  6. COOOOL stuff. This may be one of the most boring but yet beautifullest tracks in the game, but ceracryst made a few changes(fine then, many) and now it´s not boring anymore. Very nice beats added, but kept those strings, they´re good. The marimba starting at 1:30 is real good, somehow sad, somehow hopeful, perfect for this mix. When it gets more playful at 2:00 it gets very beautiful, but then Sephiroth jumps out and brings terror so that the mix must start from square 1. But it gets back to the rhytm very fast, around 2:56 it´s back again with a marimba that´s all over the place. Excellent stuff, ceracryst.
  7. WHAT HAPPENED? SOMEONE SET UP US THE REMIX WHAT? WE GET SIGNAL IT´S YOU HELLO LISTENERS HOW ARE YOU TODAY ALL OUR BEATS ARE BELONG TO STANDBY. YOU´RE ON YOUR WAY TO A GREAT TECHNO MIX. WHAT YOU SAY? YOU HAVE NO CHANCE TO RESIST MAKE YOUR TIME HAHAHA
  8. This reminds me of Bugenhagen´s lessons in the game, this remix would so fit in there, dudes. It has a very lonely beginning, sounds like someone is sitting in the slums of Midgar and plays some notes on a piano that happens to stand there. When the piano then gets two-handed, the strings comes in, and then we got the feel of the Lifestream, a smooth and calm that just lets your problems melt away, a very touching remix if I might say. Well done to all of you.
  9. Very orchestric, I like that. You can hardly recognize the original melody in the beginning, there are alot of things happening. Trombones, trumpets, very cool beats, drums as the same, and with some strings that really gives this the feel of the wild in the original. Reminds me somehow of some sort of James Bond movie, no wait! Indiana Jones, yeah, that´s it. As DJP already mentioned, this is a remix that delivers pure music enjoyment in full velocity, with much of skills in philharmonic matters. But maybe that´s what you can expect from Israfel, this is an another feather in his already stuffed hat. Very significant stuff here from the dude among the lads. Favorite part: 3:38, the only part when the mainmelody is heard. Maybe a little odd to put it in the end, but Israfel managed to put the attention to the parts in the middle and beginning. And that worked for me.
  10. It´s very hard to believe that THIS is the fighting song from FF7, but truth is, it is, and Laudude has done some serious work with this. The speech in the beginning was rather foggy, couldn´t hear those words, good thing lucubrator heard some. This was a very groovy mix, with an extra O in it. Had some nice piano to it and nice cymbals working together with a kewl synth and a organ. You don´t know the true meaning of "chill" if you haven´t heard this one. Thanks again, Lau.
  11. FF7 has the best bossmusic, no question about it. Hydro kept the awesome rhytm and guitar-thrashing feel to it, but exchanged some of the parts to do some freestyle guitarplay, that for me is no prob at all. This remix gets the adrenaline pumping, a great solid effort from Carbo, and we all should thank him by banging our heads in unison. Thanks dude.
  12. I wasn´t expecting this. Yeah, it had that cute chocobo melody including real choco-voices, but the prescense of some heavy beats and drums really caught me with my guard of. This is some cool and funky techno(I believe), the synth was okay, gpt some sort of jungle-feel to it. To sum this mix up with one word, this remix was...ummm...what was it again? Yeah that´s it. Nice work Pollard. You´re the dude.
  13. Give me a P! P! Give me an O! O! What do we got? PO! Well, that was fun. This was this remix for that matter too. Very good piano, gave the right feel to it. The bells that came after reminded from Zelda I think, and they fitted very good. As a result, a nice track that you can groove to at the beach. Thanks po! What is it time for? PARTY!!!
  14. Let me get this straight. Is this a remix on a track that has a length on 10 seconds before it begins on the next loop, and that those who has played the game probably heard it 1003649,83 times? Now that´s impressive. I read this forum before I heard this remix, and I must agree, the melody IS hard to hear, but only actually in the beginning, then it gets better. Nice combination of jazz and funkish techno, did not see that coming. And the voice that says "I´M INVINCIBLE!", I´m gonna agree with him too. Climhazzard is a very cool limitbreak with a cool name. Omnislash would maybe be a better number one at power, but coolest name...err? Great stuff aluminum, liked the combination between the flute and piano, very real sounding.
  15. Ah, great piece. It´s quite a while since we got a new CT remix, and the fact that it´s in piano doesn´t bother at all. In fact, it makes me delighted, wonderful stuff here, Pacaud-dude. Very free-style when you played, you didn´t stick to the notes tight, instead you tried changing it a bit, and it worked!
  16. Starduuude, you´ve done it again. Nice techno remix with some adds of other instruments, the two songs just melds together and makes somethin´ real cool. Great piece. I must check up those other longer works.
  17. A CotMM remix with piano? Kewl. It took awhile to the melody to kick off, and when it did, it didn´t burst out in instruments and sounds, it was clean with just the piano, some drums in the back and some synth that had a more...I don´t know. Creepy? Calm? Smooth? Simple? Yeah, that´s it.
  18. 1:22-1:42, favorite part, liked the combination with the synth and piano.
  19. Quite the careful remix, it doesn´t concern the main melody that much, it focuses more on the instruments in the back and let´s the melody play at the back. demi0s did a different work here, I agree that it sounds like the Matrix´s "Clubbed to death" if you take out the beats. The drums was quite good, a little disorded, or was it on purpose?
  20. Well, obviously Lau wasn´t kidding around when he made a samba remix. The spanish people has rushed in and started dancing around with marackas and stuff. Oh, wait, is it the mexicans that have sambas? ANYHOW, very good remix. At first I thought this was garbage, because I couldn´t hear the melody. An Aerith remix without her melody is quite stupid. But when the tune finally kicked in, I thought this was a real good mix, has the partymood already going on, turning the sad Aerith into a funny and funky dance-mix was quite the idea. I love that trumpet playing the melody at 1:36. Great, different, and inspiring stuff from Lau-dude. We sure needs a summermix when winter comes.
  21. Agrees totally. If Aeris and Cloud weren´t in that elevator-thingie(forgot what it´s called) and instead was in a hall full of people dancing to some sweet band-music, this song would surely be the one they´re hearing. Great stuff, EgM.
  22. I´m divided. Should I love this remix because of the funny redo of Umaro, a dumb person that don´t know how to shave, with some nice instruments that drove out some real insaneness? Or should I not because of the fact that it sounded to overdone with maybe too much instruments, some of them that weren´t the best choice? Still, I´m surprised that Quinn came back. I thought he would dedicate the rest of his remixes to Phantasy Star?
  23. This might be the first remix that actually made the Terra melody faster going, it just rushed through without pauses. I can agree with everyone that those strings were beautiful, had a touch of sorrow embodied in it, and then came the melody to smash down that feel into something more techno hipity-hop. It was okay, but when the next loop came, nothing had changed that much. The middle part wasn´t that spectacular, but I sure has to give ya credit for the strings AP. Nice work, dude.
  24. MUSTIN HAS CREATED A MONSTER!!! AND IT´S SOUNDS LIKE BUGS BUNNY!!! AAAARRRRRGGGH!!! OK, nuff funny said. The arrangement was good, I liked those flutes and the strings, and when everythin´ went over to some more crazieness, the techno and thrash metal waltzed in through the back door. That trumpet was quite well, don´t really know what kind of synth you used after that. Nice flutes afterwards, and....I can´t do this anymore, ther´s just TOO MUCH! Personally, all the sound effects of cartoon figures and Kefka with his weapon of destruction doesn´t really did it fer me. BUT, Mustindude has a point. Remixing mustn´t neccessarily need to be quality stuff with excellent arrangement and all that. He just did this one to do something that noone would have expected(well, almost noone) and surprised with something crazy, wacky, and of course INSANE. Mustin surprised us all, but there are no shame to loose, just listen to this and see for yourself.
  25. I wasn´t that content with the welcome committee. Sure, this is a spoooooky remix, but that line about "Welcome to your doooooom" wasn´t my cup of tea. The song did have some nice beats to it. Funky, and of course had those creepy ghost whistlers along, didn´t hear "The Phantom Train", maybe because I don´t remembers it quite well. I thought I recognized those voices, now I know. Those voices sounds very much as the "Knaaren" from Rayman 3:Hoodlum Havoc.
