  1. Dude, that was deep. Ok, this sounded actually a little dirty. With all those machine techno, it feels like you get covered with oil and dust, but you don´t, and that´s a positive thingie. The Veldt theme is great, but I don´t think that BD did it GREATER, he gave it a haircut, a facelift and a whole new style, but he kept a piece of that desert feel this track has together with that catchy melody. I digged the instruments, at some times they sounded to fuzzy, but they did better later on. Great piece, beatdude.
  2. Probably fair enough, he could be beaten if you had big level characters that in some way could strike 9999, and after around like 37 tries, I finally got that dude. And I did it before Terra, my brothers did it, so to not to be pointed out, I had to to it too of course. But I was wrong, Emerald and Ruby weapon from FF7 are the hardest or at least one of the hardest bosses ever. Okay, not Emerald, but surely Ruby.
  3. Niiice, had that swooooshy feeling in the beginning from the game, I recognized this track right away. It may have sounded a bit too much alike the OST, but it still had a soothing and almost groovy mood, but gained some more tempo in the middle, nice thing. Good usage of all the techno stuff, wax.
  4. Cool remix, this one was more advanced that the first one, maybe not by much, but since the first one sounded a little too originish, this one was different. Nice synths, beats, and all those other technomaterial that made this remix what it is, a real good one. Nice work waxingel...can I call you was? If that´s the chase, nice work wax!
  5. Dude, this track is one of my favorites, and you really draws out that factory/crazy lab feeling. Although I´m not that into many sounds and stuff that goes on at the same time, but I did so like those industrial sounds, kling, klang and then Cid´s sigh: MMMIEEUUUH. That one was both funny and creepy. But this mix actually has its bright moments, like that jazz part at 2:09, sweeeet.
  6. Ozma, from FF9, is a real pain, that I can say. He may just be a ball that looks like it been bathed with 100 kinds of paint buckets, but if you make him angry, like standing in front oh him/her, he either puts some real bad fog on you, makes a giant flare or drops an asteroid in your petit videocharacter head. Now there´s a nasty guy!
  7. This one is....sorry, haveto say it...HORRIBLE! The synth killed the Celes melody that´s one of my favorites, and that weird voice echoing all the time drove me crazy. But if you keep in mind that this was FFMDJ´s FIRST remix, you may understand why it may sound like this, because I hace listened to other of his works, and they´re are simply great!
  8. This piano sounds like it´s from the old times, 1890 or something, I´m not that good at history. Just liked the sound noir got out of it, the battle theme is of course a very hectic track, thanks for that, but that makes it harder to remix it, or is it just me being stupid? It is me right? Anyhow, very good piano rush, draws out a little more power from this instrument that many of us love. Nice work black.
  9. Dude, this is totally not my style, but good that you did it anyway, there are sure to be some metal-fans somewhere around here. But I found it hard to hear any melodies, I recognized the theme to the floating island, but many else. But it may be hard also to do a descent melody when all you got is a full-thottle guitar and some drums that goes crazy. However, great mix, this site really needs some variation, although this isn´t my choice of music. Metal
  10. Piano and flute? And McVaffe? Why haven´t anyone told me? This is a great piece of piano arrangement, and FF city themes always fits like a glove with it. A very relaxing flute made the enjoyment even better. Dude, I remember that. I think I just got a sad flashback. Nice work Vaffdude, you truly are one of the best.
  11. Sadness eh? Then how do you explain that part at 2:19? That was a pure jazz arrangement to be sure, very nice done, and the rest of the whole remix was actually a very sad trumpet in exile. My family actually have a trumpet, but I can only manage to blow air through it. How do you play that thing?! Very solid mix JonT, did it all by yourself and got in my opinion a good remix with a soothing trumpet and piano with a slight touch of jazz. Bravo.
  12. You don´t need to be so fired up dude, I have actually played the game, so I recognized this right away, but that thing about Cyan, I´ve forgotten how his theme is, but as the original I think they can sound alike, Shadow´s theme is after all a careful guitar with a flute and that western instrument that goes "boing" all the time. And yes, Daniel, this was a great remix, did not only bring the sad storie of Shadow, but also his darker secrets. Nice beats, awesome guitar, what more can I say? Everyone was scared of him in the game, if he got this one as theme, they´d be terrifyed. Good work, DB.
  13. Different : Yes Unique : Yep Noisy : Affirmative Sad : Nope Orchestric: I don´t think so Techno : Mmmyess Happy : What do YOU think? Annoying : Much possible Boring : NOOO!! Worth a download: You´ll have to decide. Personally: Oui
  14. This is a great piece of masterwork. At some points you can think that he should had chosen other instruments, but if you concentrate more on the whole picture, this is truly a masterpiece. It has average instruments like guitars, flutes and of course drums, but he can surprise you by unexpectedly throwing in some cool synths and trombones right in the melody, nice stuff. The walkover to the next song was a little sudden, he first one faded away and then changed to a completely different melody. The second one, NO problems at all, magnificent remixing with nice bells and trumpets(I think), beautiful and terrifying, this is pirates we´re talking about, arrrrrent we mateys? Rally-ho to Protricity!
  15. Dude, I can see you really have worked hard for this one, eh? I mean, it´s one thing sitting in front of the computer and remix something and a completely other thing to record every single tune in the whole remix and THEN remix in front of the computer. Very much skills also to play this good, and then have the courage to write lyrics to it. You have a good voice, so that should have needed less courage, but at 6:30 it was a little too much for it. Overall, great song with nice guitar through the whole thing, and some great vocals to put some higher class to it. Definitly worth a download, as I said in the beginning, this took surely alot of work. Great job, silent-dude.
  16. What am I to listen to a goat? THIS is the reason. Not only it´s filled with some nice orchestrals and a totally jamming guitarsolo, it´s filled with love. I haven´t really listened so much to the works of goat, but after this I could do a little check-up. Very good remix. Goat took two styles and meld them together to make a mix shrouding with skills and respect. Nice work once again, you truly are worth calling goat.
  17. It´s the dude! And he has come to take me with his spaceship! With an excellent remix of the moon theme in the back that surely creeps me out but still has a calm and touching feel with soft strings and a synth that really gives that atmosphere of being in space at the moment! Great one! Sorry, got a little caught in the spacey theme. Overall, this a good mix, maybe much similar to the original but still a mix worth a download. Nice job Mazedude. And for those that liked this one should really check out 'SpaceStationoftheAncients', it´s a blast.
  18. I felt it was too original, Isopropyl just added two synths and used a new version of the strings, it just felt like the org, the beginning was different, I thought it was building up for a techno break-out or something, but it continued with its calm and mellow style to the end, like the org. But still a descent work, keep on and you´ll surely be better.
  19. Oh dear, I was surprised that these actually made this mix LIVE, but it sounded so bad I thought. I´m not saying that I would do it better, cause my result would be unrecognizable, give everyone headache and my fingers would have scars all over their prints. What I´m saying is that when someone makes a remix, it should have some skills. Onca again, I´m not a remixer either, so the results would probably be the same as the guitars, and these guys really did well for being live, but personally I didn´t like it.
  20. Dude, you can´t OWN a chocobo, it´s one of God´s creatures man! I mean, man, that´s like wacko, fella. Seriously, good song. I liked the flute in Rydia´s theme, but not the one in the chocobo theme, that one was slightly annoying. A very funky mix overall, that can the dude himself say. Nice work Noppz.
  21. Gray Lightning has as usual done it again, but this time he did the orchestric way, and that´s none too shabby, cause I love orchestric. It had flutes, drums, possible bells and a smooth feel of the tracks, besides the Airship theme, I think the Main theme is somewhwere into this too. Or is it my ears that plays tricks in my mind again? Anyhow, great mix, GLdude.
  22. DarkCecil, the boss over the bosses is back with a mix for bosses. Did I just confuse myself? A cool orcestral together with some techno, that must be my favorite genre I think. DC13 sure made it sound awesome anyway, so kudos to him. I got a little off guard, and then that MIDI-part at 0:42 stroke me, didn´t expect something like that in this one, but different to use some MIDI samples to improve the listening experience, has that happened before? And then came the beautiful and calm part, a mix of "the lunarians" or the moon theme, sweet anyways. And then it went back to the tempopumping techno/orchestral style again to finish off with a renewed "Long way to go" track. Mmmyesss, this is pure quality and a good deal of quantity in this mix. Thanks DarkCecil13.
  23. Can everybody stop all this chit-chat about techno or not? Qonas may have some point, an orchestral mix would surely release this track´s true and majestic form, plus I like orchestral too, but a techno is not a bad thing either. This site was made to give gamemusic a better or DIFFERENT look, besides are techno good at giving calm themes a liitle more spice so it gets alot more funky to listen to. We all got our tastes, we shall not complain about others, instead focusing on having your own style. With that put aside, I really did enjoyed this mix, the techno groove gave this track a whole new outfit, those synths and beats are quite good. FFMDJ still kept the origibnal melody and let it do its calm race at the back, together with the rest this mix isn´t a thrashing trance hit, but more of a mix perfect to chill too. FF music Dj, keep on fighting. Your obviously good at it.
  24. Come to the Golden Chocobo, the casino with the best foyermusic! Only 1,2 MB, but packed with the spirit of the good old casinodays, filled with piano, bass and adorable bells! What are ya waiting, come and get a piece of the Golden Chocobo!
  25. Cool bells, drums and that respectful atmosphere this mix gives away really does this thing good. The theme of the moon maybe wasn´t that fun, this one either, but this is clealy a soothing remix, meant for you to just let your problems melt away for 2 min and 39 secs and just chill. Or dig, the drums gets a little heavier at the end. lasombra, well done.
