yup, I spent the entire day yesterday (Mother's Day) with WifeTiger I love name changes to reference family

aargh, I'm so torn, I've barely had a chance to work on mine and if I ask for the extension I *might* be able to finish it if I killed myself on it for the 4 or 5 hours I'd have tomorrow... D: I think I'm just going to have to skip this round EDIT: ah what the hell, go ahead and put in the extension. I'll see what I can do

Glad the deadline isn't for another week, I've had no time to work on music this week :/

So I evaluated my time & my priorities, and I realized if I do this compo, along with all the other musical stuff I'm doing on OCR, I'll be spending all my free time making music and none of it with my wife and my daughter. So, Darke, could you please remove me from the roster? I really really want to do this compo, but family comes first. Sorry guys :-\ I'll just save all my awesome Sonic ideas for the SZRC later this year >

I'm not really a Final Fantasy fan (yet ), but I'm actually looking forward to this release. Just knowing how much fantastic music there will be is making me impatient D:

what about the newer "retro" Mega Man Games (9 & 10) that are available on virtual console/download? EDIT: Eh went ahead and submitted. If I chose bad themes then let me know and I'll re-submit I actually chose all themes from Mega Man 9 because I am not familiar with the series at all...

Joel, it's so great to see you on this project! I used to listen to your mixes years ago. My favorite was your Angel Island collab with Malcos. I'll drive anywhere with the windows down and the volume cranked unashamedly to that track.

It looks like we might have enough bonus tracks to make a separate disc after all...!

Ok, so in the name of using the PM Forum, I went ahead and posted an introduction of myself. I'll post some WiPs there soon.

Lol, just wanted to stay on top of things, but may have made it a bit more complicated that way, sorry. My strengths... hm. Defintely arrangement and creativity, and I'm pretty dang good with synth work (i.e. LFO's, filters, general craziness). I'm pretty flexible when it comes to genre - I've done hip-hop, dubstep, trance, house, synthpop, house, and some other stuff that I'm not really sure how to classify. I'm getting pretty good at production lately too. I use Logic as my DAW/sequencer, and I play keys and drums (including hand drums!). I also sing and rap and I enjoy writing lyrics. Here's some of my remixes: Sonic 3D Blast vs. Sonic & Knuckles - Dubstep-ish Super Mario Bros. Overworld - chill-ish experimental electronic Sonic 2 Mystic Cave - hip-hop/rap (I'm pretty sure I'm a better singer than how I sound in this one) There's more on my SoundCloud if you want to explore some more, but those three best demonstrate my flexibility and different skills.

If I get some time soon I'll send you a WiP for Brawl. EDIT: Sending it to you now.
