1. I didn't mean stylistically, I meant more along the lines of the fact that it's probably hard to produce breakcore well in the first place. I could be talking out my ass, though, since I've never tried making any
2. I haven't heard any breakcore on here, sorry. It's a lesser-used/known genre, and I bet being able to produce legit, good-sounding breakcore is pretty hard, so getting a breakcore vg remix that's good enough to pass the judges panel seems unlikely.
3. Just wanna say, I'm interested in this, if you're willing to give me a shot. I'm pretty sure I could do what you want, with a little guidance.
4. I might be interested in this. Gotta check with the wife; also, I'd want to finish some other tracks before I jump into this project.
5. Hey all, I did a bunch of work to "Space Pirate Attack" and just subbed it to OCR... check out the newest version here and wish me luck!
6. Hey man, would you up for contributing rap vocals to my Paper Mario - Goomba Village track?

7. I wish I could have come this time! Alas, my work planning did not allow it this year
8. Love the updates to how the latest albums are displayed, and how their pages show the album's tracklist. However, do you think the tracklists could also reflect the remixing artists' names?
9. Lol this. Yeah the music was pretty ambient for the most part huh? Except when you were in the midst of a fight.
10. It consists of the 3 tracks I made for last year's Musical Replacement Initiative competition here on OCR, plus an additional track I made for an audition for an indie game company! So, 4 electronica tunes made with video games in mind, basically. Clicky here to download for free (or pay if you want)!
11. Glad to see more tracks from 101% run, especially one of my favorites. This one caught me by surprise, all the little touches are superb.
12. I liked the SM64, the Chrono Trigger, & the Zelda ones... I didn't think it was possible to make "Hey! Listen!!" any more annoying XD
13. lessened the stereo spread just a little bit on that lead, like Timaeus suggested; also changed the 16th-note hats to a 1/4-note ride cymbal for the a couple intense sections (2:13 & 3:08 ). new v4: https://app.box.com/s/cj51sr9dn9eq5tbgdhxm Didn't do anything with the snare. In the section to which you referred, the snare is exactly the same as it is earlier in the song (it changes in places), so unless you were just using that time reference as an example of something you were hearing throughout the song, I don't know what you're talking about (although I definitely did some shaping with the snare). I do understand what you meant about the stuffiness at 1:29, but I'm not planning on doing anything to change that unless I make changes to the snare for other reasons. At this point, unless anybody has any other suggestions/things they want to point out or want to expand on things they've already said, I'm really not planning on changing anything else; I'm pretty satisfied with it, myself. EDIT: sorry, fixed the link.
14. new v3: https://app.box.com/s/c0e3g94zowycz3u7nbem Did a bunch of work re-doing the mastering. Also shifted the pitch of the wub "bass" down an octave to address MindWanderer's concern. EDIT: Realized that the mp3 tags have "v2" in the name still, will fix.
15. Wow Timaeus, once I found those frequencies (and a couple more) they stuck out like a sore thumb. Thanks! I figured out what instrument it was & notched them out. New version #2, with some other minor modifications: https://app.box.com/s/9b2yxw3xxnxpi8abn897
16. New version (FINALLY!!!) https://app.box.com/s/c0uxdx8hcojkv50rctv2
17. I would love to be a part of a Sonic 3D Blast album, I love both soundtracks. The 25th anniversary & "generations" albums sound great too, although tbh they should probably be combined.
18. Don't tease me like this. I can't wait until Q3 to hear the album!!
19. I submitted one of mine, and all it said was NO EDIT: I did some revisions real quick and resubbed, and it said this: "Gotta refine your sequencing and orchestration. Don't rely on expensive samples to carry things. I'm a simple script with simple needs - this has nearly everything I want in a submission and then some, especially the tempo and reverb. It's also worth pointing out, the transition to the chorus around 1:30 reminds me a little bit of Vampire Killer, only a lot fresher, not some "Good Vibrations" vocal sample. It's a bit shocking to hear how technomangaesque the adjustment to electronica was, but there's no doubt it was pulled off epically. Some people who hate interpretive arrangements might say " All this buildup up to 2:10 for a crappily sequenced cover with generic beats?!? Goddammit, this just isn't my day. Listened to the whole thing, but it doesn't merit anymore beyond this. I'm too busy trashing it. Bad everything. Even the strings coming in again at 3:32 are only a drop of decency admist this default crud. I'll never get those 5 minutes back. Fuck. ", but they are FOOLS. All they do is unstoppably complain about their silly taste in music. Well, There is just the right amount of cowbell \m/ \m/ \m/ YES" I'm really impressed by the amount of you guys put into this thing. and I'm really glad it shares my love of cowbell
20. Thanks man, I sent you an email!

21. Hey man, I'm looking for someone to rap on a Paper Mario track I'm doing. Would you be up for it?
