I currently don't have a link to give you for the music but I can definitely send you any mp3s of the original soundtrack you'd be interested in. (I have all tracks on HD) Here is also a link with more information on this fabulous game: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jet_Force_Gemini

This is one of my dreams to see this game remixed. The genre can be anything you choose or are inspired by. It would be an honor to have you help remix this project.

Thanks again for your time and consideration. My email is darkflamewolf@yahoo.com.

  2. Malicious Fingers, Thrash the Plank, several reasons why I'd love to have you onboard with this project:

I've been meaning to start up a project for a completely malnourished game called Jet Force Gemini by RARE entertainment. It had such an incredible and involving soundtrack that was far better than most 3rd person shooters of its time. It was one of the few cult games that never quite made it financially and so it dropped off the charts. Which is a complete shame since it was one of the best games Rare made before they hopped over to the Sony bandwagon.

My goal is to remix most of the notable track arrangements of the game, which is 18 tracks. I believe you would be perfect for one or two of them. However many you choose. The track list is as thus:

    1 - Main Titles

    2 - Character Select

    3 - Floyd Race

    4 - Goldwood Forest

    5 - SS Anubis

    6 - Tawfret

    7 - Battle Cruiser Sekhmet

    8 - Cerulean

    9 - Ichor Military Base

    10 - Spawnship

    11 - Rith Essa

    (continued)

  8. You are a force of nature with your voice and your music. A few of these songs could use that talent, if not for lyrics, then definitely for accompanying voice cues. 12. If this is Sixto Sounds, (hard to tell since its just 'Sixto, but I can hope!) then I am in awe of your work on Summoning of Spirits and other projects you've been apart of. 14. You have always been a favorite of mine with your mixes and I think you can really add some 'oomph' to a variety of these songs. 15. Okay, I listened to it again and I still stand by my original view of it. I'll give it one full listen through when the album is finished but as it stands, the small bit I heard, its clearly not one of his better mixes. Just my personal opinion.
  16. Just listened to the preview track, awesome stuff all around EXCEPT, the one with lyrics within the 4 minute mark. Its like nails on a chalkboard, hideous, horrendous, and just plain wrong. I think that'll be the first track to be deleted upon downloading of full album. (I usually listen to each album through once and then decide which ones I wouldn't mind losing, that way I can keep the 'core' songs I like to listen to over and over again and burn those onto a cd)
  17. yes, I third that addition of raising the curtain. Great job on a project well done! Its been a LONG time, but I'm finally glad to see it out! EDIT: yay, new page bumper! EDIT2: It also seems people want more tracks added to the project, maybe it could be an ongoing project? Where the major 'bulk' is already released, but people can add more as the months go on?
  18. honestly? I thought that was not an official OCRemix project, esp. since Blood on the Asphalt basically covered that material pretty well a while back. Didn't know it was in the line-up for OCR coverage like all the other projects are. If it was, I'd say its a shoe-in project entry. Not to demean or degrade anyone's work in the project, but its been done before in BOTA already and is rehashing old ground. So anyway, let me get this straight, the website is almost finalized which means: the songs are all finalized and ready for release. OCRemix is currently spotlighting SFII overhaul, so once things settle down for that (which is what? 1 month? 2 months?) there is nothing stopping this from getting released? Correct me if I'm making bad conclusions here. This is what I'm understanding based on what I'm reading.
  19. In all seriousness though, without getting any smart-aleck returns or answers to this question, I would like to know straight up the progress on the project. I can see the track list and what's been done, etc. But I'd honestly like to know what is left to do. Meaning, what is it that is preventing this from being released? What is there left to do before calling it final? I'm just wanting to know the bottom line on the project, that's all. Thanks.
  20. So are we just waiting for the next available spot in the OCRemix schedule to set up the project? Or are we waiting on someone to help finish the website for it?
  21. oh yeah, if anyone is interested, I have mp3 files of the entire soundtrack if you'd like to take a gander at it to see the awesomeness that is JFG.
  22. This is probably only going to be a pipe dream and won't ever come true. But I simply can't pick any one track from Jet Force Gemini. I'd 'like' to see a full scale project on the entire soundtrack to the game similar to the OCRemix projects already being hosted. Its not a 'whole' lot of songs (about 18-20) that comprise the soundtrack, but I believe people can make some epic remixes from its soundtrack. But as I said, this probably isn't going to happen, its merely a request. Just wanted to put that out there that Jet Force Gemini seriously needs some music lovin'.
