  1. http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=O9TM1A3s4QE Fast forward 2 min into the video to hear the most awesome medley of classic NES songs ever. E: Also, don't forget that many of the assist trophies act like final smashes too, evident by this youtube video. So if you are disappointed by the final smashes, remember the tons of assist trophies.
  2. Look at youtube user's http://ca.youtube.com/user/bdcool187 profile. The songs are incredible! Theres even a tetris level.
  3. Sonic has idle chat and verbal taunts, does anyone else?
  4. http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=2HU_AJbx10Q Every character's final smash, all back to back, in video form.
  5. What clones? From videos Wolf plays nothing like Fox, only their final smash and the fact the shoot weapons are similiar. Ganon looks like he has different moves too. I haven't seen any footage on Falco though.
  6. This stage is gonna be awesome. So is this one. I love retro stages.
  7. lol @ fusion2004, the man who ragequit guildwars because of Equinox and I
  8. The F-Zero stage looks awesome. Oh and the player in the stream is fighting pokey with ness in the subspace mode
  9. Theres a stream of some guy playing the subspace emissionary on 2ch.
  10. Snapshot from Star Fox 64 when you don't save Falco in Corneria and his G-Diffuser explodes.
  11. Thats a pretty awesome smash level.
  12. All I could think of was Half-Life and the stupid antlions...especially when they were in the tunnel. I knew exactly what was going to happen, and I hadn't even seen any previews for the movie or heard anything about it before going. I told the people around me this. Wasn't bad, but wasn't great. I too thought the plot was stupid and they could have done so much more with a badass monster. The movie had no epic feel at all. You know, they should make a Half-Life movie. I guess the only problem would be that Gordon doesn't talk in the games. But I feel that Half-Life has a good enough plot to create a movie or two off of it. Overall on Cloverfield, I think its only a movie that will be enjoyed in theatres or if you have some massive home theatre system; otherwise, it has no replay factor, considering the main draw is the sound effects and visual effects, which are hampered by the camera angle. Not sure it was worth the 8 bucks, but it kept me a little entertained for a while.
  13. Broadway-style musicals are an acquired taste, and I wouldn't doubt that video-game-playing teenagers in the 2000's probably won't like them or learn to like them either. Sondheim is a seriously good songwriter, though.
  14. If you liked the songs, check out Steven Sondheim's other stuff. Hes an amazing songwriter. I worked on his tribute play "Side by Side by Sondheim", as a spotlight operator 7 or 8 years ago, and I still love all those songs today. Side by Side takes a few songs from each of his plays, and includes "Pretty Women" from Sweeney Todd.
  15. Not only that but there were loads of NES games with day/night cycles
  16. Hey I don't care one way or another. I wasn't planning on seeing the movie based on what I saw from the previews, and I know that the movie removed the religious aspects of the story. I'm just saying its a Catch 22 - you'll have protesters, sure, but you'll also have people who go out of their way to identify the atheist messages and worship it.
  17. It would be good if it didn't go out of its way about trying to kill God and was such an anti-religious story. I mean, I guess you atheist people would like that sort of stuff, but I can see why it would offend so many people.
  18. I'm not close minded. But I can say without a doubt that I hate anything like what I saw in that video - relentless, undiscerning screaming of the lungs as the main musical instrument that sounds like someone who has had a little too much drugs burping a song as loud as they possibly can. If you can call it 'metal', I like some Devin Townsend stuff when he isn't screaming. And Black Sabbath, but I consider that classic rock more than metal. If you are talking like Powerman 5000, I'd just consider that heavy rock. And no I don't listen to Powerman 5000.
  19. vs. Twilight's Gannon more wimpy? Wind Waker's version looks like he's had too many donuts before reporting to his waiter job.
  20. I really don't see how people can like that heavy metal music. Listening to that "Arch Enemy" song made me want to punch her in the face. To each his own, I guess. Um, so more geared towards rock, theres Heart - - apparently that song is GH, then there's the best of the best - Fleetwood Mac - - but if you are more into that screaming garbage can gothic punk heavy metal then you wouldn't like any of what I am suggesting, or if you are more into modern rock, theres always Alanis Morissette, her early stuff (not newer) http://youtube.com/watch?v=hbxNybJ1k0o
  21. Games without deadlines are almost always better. Look at the Half-Life series. They come out when they are done with them. And they are magnificent!
  22. Why don't you all just wait til the game comes out before you start complaining They haven't released everything, afterall, it was just an update, not an announcement
  23. Not all of them! And especially not SMB 3, which had the best music of the series.
