Storyline wise, its a zombie game based on zombie style action movies. You can't expect much storyline there. I think a lot of people thought this was going to be more than a twitch adrenline shooter, and they are disappointed. I knew what it was before the demo came out, bought the game last night and loving it. Plus the versus mode is pretty god damn awesome as well. Having played the park area from death toll as a boomer is great fun.

It has to include L4D retail, cause if you read the price breakdown page, it has L4D listed as full price. So yes, you got screwed, email valve.

For anyone up for modding the demo already, there is a dustbowl map for everyone that has TF2. I just beat it on advanced and its fucking awesome. What you need is this. http://nemesis.thewavelength.net/files/files/gcfscape170.exe http://natto.studio-web.net/l4d_dustbowl07.rar Open up C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps and find find team "fortress 2 content.gcf" and "team fortress 2 materials.gcf". Extract the 'models' folder from the first, and the 'materials' folder from the second to C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead demo\left4dead replacing content if necessary. Your l4d demo will now have the tf2 models and materials then, it's just a case of "changelevel l4d_dustbowl07" in the console.

Ok, Ive played this many times, and have yet to encounter these "server problems" you speak of.

My quad core (2.4 ghz) plus a shitty ATI raedon HD 2400 run this game flawlessly. So if you have better than that, you are gonna be fine.
