Oh I used to play the trumpet to. It was for band class and all the other trumpet players had dropped the class. I played the Indiana Jones song by myself without the help of other trumpet players and despite that, I did a good job ^^ Sorry about the irrelevant subject =/

Just as an obvious tip for you guys...don't spend 2 years of your life listenning to heavy metal full blast on your ear phones or car speakers. Fucked up my hearing pretty good...though not to a critical point. Ah I see...I think I've caused some permanent damage to my hearing, which doesn't help my remixing learning...I find it harder to hear certain tones and lower end things.

I know I've already made a comment on this song. But when I compare this to mainstream music - EVEN without knowing the original source tune to have any form of nastalgia - this song is far better than what we hear nowadays. If this got introduced to a radio station (that has taste), it'd be on the #1 hit list for a long time. THIS is one of the songs that I will request to have played for my funeral hopefully 55 years from now lol. Good job OCR, Daniel and whoever else collabbed to make this song

You remix on headphones? Doesn't that hurt your ears over time? =/ I find that using PAD's on my earphones hurts like a bitch, then again maybe it's just because the samples are shitteh and my EQ skills suck lol.

Sorry I don't know how to do the quote thing properly, but I agree with you. If I were a judge I'd become rather uninspired to sugar coat my shit after about listening to around 1000 remixes 3/4 of which sound like crap. On an off-subject note CHIPP damage, congrats on getting one of your remixes onto OCR, I've still yet to do that my self lol. To be honest the only area that really needs to be changed in OCR is a more helpful WIP site..

Amen to that Penfold. I'm probably the worst remixer on the site right now, but you don't see me going emo and cutting my wrists then going flame-o bitching at the judges. They could be meaner you know. They could say stuff like "THIS SHIT SUCKS MY COCK!!! MY ASS COULD SHIT OUT A BETTER REMIX THAN YOUR LIQUID VOMIT THAT CONSTITUTES FOR A REMIX!!!" They've only made me wanna try harder...problem is I'm a slow learner so I guess I'll keep on sending remixes to them that probably make their ears bleed whenever they hear em. Kudos to them for putting up with us n00bs and wannabes.
