So I got my copy of the Xenogears OST in the mail today, and it brings back memories. It also reminded me of this project - it looks like things progressed nicely, which is good to see as I'm looking forward to the final result. I also noticed that some tracks are omitted from the OST like Gathering Stars in the Night Sky, Flight, and Small Two Pieces - any particular reason why? Edit: Looking at the OST, quite a lot was omitted - the OST has 44 tracks, 2 of them being garbage (sleeping in a inn songs). I feel like the whole OST is great source material. Edit #2: Release timing is a bit hard to pick, although you'll probably want to have a meeting with Dave, Larry, and I about it, as the DKC 2 project is also nearly complete & we're shooting for an October/November release.

Hm, maybe I'll just Amazon it then.
-
Guess I should think about a trip to Gamestop then?
-
Normally I would give it to you, but Hemo has me holding onto it first - if his plans fall through, then I'll put you down for it.

We had the discussion earlier, but personally I don't think you're ready to handle such a track adequately and have decided I absolutely cannot have it for the project. You're more than welcome to try the track for yourself though.

Theory of Fourier Integrals by E. C. Titchmarsh and The Lost Notebook by Srinivasa Ramanujan - mainly for research, there are things in analytic number theory that Ramanujan discovered that could possibly be generalized.

So welcome everyone - today marks the start of the project, open to all who are capable of executing Arek & my vision for a rearrangement project on the music of Lufia 1 & 2. We are looking for primarily rock/metal/electronic driven music, although we will consider other interpretations on a track & artist basis. Don't let our preferred genres for this project deter you from checking out the source material! There are still other tracks that we'll probably want outside of our primary focus. The first deadline is August 19th for a rough WIP, with others listed in the project forums. For the tracks, I will be using the names from the OST found here: http://vgmdb.net/album/3061 The OST tracklisting is a bit hard to parse out, but the first 35 tracks are from Lufia 1, and up to the end of Disc 2 is Lufia 2 Here are two Youtube playlists that can assist in finding the tracks: Lufia 1: http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=29D38A6582CF354E Lufia 2: http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=570FB2451D3BB65C Here are some RSNs: Lufia 1 - http://snesmusic.org/v2/profile.php?profile=set&selected=1541 Lufia 2 - http://snesmusic.org/v2/profile.php?profile=set&selected=1543 Here are the SPCs if you're having trouble with the RSNs like me: Lufia 1 - http://www.zophar.net/music/spc/lufia-the-fortress-of-doom.html Lufia 2 - http://www.zophar.net/music/spc/lufia-2-rise-of-the-sinistrals-estpolis-biography-i-.html You can find SPC players here: http://snesmusic.org/v2/players.php or http://www.zophar.net/utilities/spc.html Keep in mind that RSNs are compressed files - WinRAR can extract them. So is everyone game for these dates? Also, I plan on holding a BBQ around early-mid August at my new place if you guys are interested - think of it as a sort of goodbye BBQ for Nekofrog, since he's going off to basic training soon.

Yup, it's OA's song for Cranky's Conga. -
I'm willing to sell Resistance 2 for the PS3 if someone wants, PM with best offer.

Happy birthday! I hope you have a nice day, and don't run into a crit rocket!

Donkey Kong Country 2: Serious Monkey Business - History

I should have replied earlier to this. The Mining Melancholy track actually isn't the final version - I still haven't heard whether Taucer re-recorded those vocals (the non-rapping). There are so many party-worthy details with this project - I'll just say that everyone will be quite surprised with the end product (except maybe SnappleMan). -

So I beat Toxic Tower earlier today...ugh that was annoying. I kept getting greedy and trying to jump too many spots as Rattle But now I'm up to Screetch's Sprint! -

Distributed Denial of Service attack - one that involves multiple computers. This might've been just a regular DOS (Denial of Service) attack, who knows. -

Alright, Gameservers blocked the IP of the person doing the DDOS attack. -

What's so facepalm-worthy about that? -

So here's a suggestion for tonight, since we're getting DDOS'd [19:43] <atmuh> edgecrusher or someone post my other server ip on the ocr forums and use that for tonight if you guys want a server to play on [19:43] <atmuh> (it is not a micspam server) [19:43] <atmuh> 68.232.171.177:27015 -

I filed a ticket with Gameservers about this, with the guy's IP address - hopefully this goes to his ISP and bye bye internet for him. -
It was pretty hilarious watching newt playing it last night - seeing the greed of the lucky people chosen as The One and just how many dumb people there were getting easy questions wrong like "What is the 24th letter of the English alphabet?" was too entertaining in a dumbfounding way. One thing I didn't like was that it seemed like the super good people would consistently win the prizes for the top 3 scores though.

What do you think of these computer specs?
Bahamut replied to True_Orb's topic in General Discussion
Also, I don't know how much you can pare down costs on other items, but here's a DVD burner for about $7-8 cheaper: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827151176 -

Yeah, I'd seriously up that video card. I've seen the 9800 GT go for only ~$30 more at times, and is definitely worth the upgrade. -
Happy birthday! Not always - I spent my 21st studying for the GRE Math exam .
-
That sounds kinda stupid - so with AC they released an incomplete movie for some reason or another, only to complete it with blu-ray? I'm curious about these deleted scenes now, but that sounds rather stupid of Square to do that in the first place.
-
Heh, well I still let myself take it from behind from Square. In fact, I'm downloading it right now!

I'm pretty sure EdgeCrusher is married now.
