I still think that the notion of keyboard/mouse being superior to all is total bullshit. The keyboard is such a limiting & unergonomic control device, especially in a FPS - Metroid Prime 3 is a perfect demonstration of the best of both worlds. Eventually, PC FPS won't be able to compete against console FPS for that simple reason of an unrefined control scheme that only touts itself as superior because people have gritted through and forced themselves to get used to it.

Not really. I had Live pretty early, but there wasn't a great game for it for a long time. Most of my fun times on Live were mainly playing with friends, and even then it was nothing compared to online gaming in a game like Warcraft 3.

XBox Live has been kinda terrible for a while though. Nintendo likes having the right experience (to them) from the getgo.

Pssh, a lot of people have called me a music god for my vast knowledge & assessment of music across the spectrum . Well, I normally buy CDs - however, I'm willing to spend a little money for digital downloads, but only like $2-3 tops for an album unless it's unavailable in any other form. As for the credit/debit card fee - they did not tell me until the very final page, when the order was already processed. It's a bit underhanded to not prominently show it beforehand, if they even showed it at all. I was a bit peeved to only find out about the fee at the end.

Just as a note, I despise this band's music. However, for 0.95 pounds total (after their hidden 0.45 pounds credit/debit card charge), I'm willing to give this a try.

You can do it online. Careful though, they charge an extra $10 per person up to 4 people if you have over 2 people, so I'd book for just two. Also, there's ~$30 tax.

I probably download more music than all of OCR - I know in all my years of undergrad, I have never found someone with more music than I do, and this was even while being part of the i2hub team, where I found plenty of people with 200+ GB of music. However, I do know it's theft, and I don't try to justify it. I try to support the artists I like by buying their music since otherwise the music wouldn't even be there, but of course financially I can't afford to buy all the music I enjoy in one fell swoop.

Well, one of the preorders I got for $40. I got this one at Gamestop because I wasn't sure how hard the game would be to get (I remember having trouble just finding Pokemon Diamond/Pearl earlier this year).

Man...I hate Gamestop. They left me a voicemail saying that I have to be there by 9 pm on Monday night to guarantee my Halo 3 preorder even though I was told I could pick it up anytime within 48 hours of release after it comes out. I'm thinking of never shopping there again due to this.
