  1. You just won at life. Best album title ever!
  2. It's about damn time you posted this Best of luck to all involved - I'm especially excited to hear Click Clock Woods, Abadoss is somewhat of a hero of mine after hearing his FFIV work and Click Clock Woods is my favorite song!
  3. Oh look, it's AnotherBirthday! Happy birfday
  4. Hey, hop on AIM, I wanted to give you feedback on your song but you don't seem to be online anymore.

  5. So I guess the project revival ain't happening?
  6. Hah, if it's 21+ then I'm out You guys are right, I probably wouldn't be able to have much fun in Vegas anyway. Maybe I'll find some way to rendezvous at the AZ meetup, I'll probably be closer to that and have some time to hang out then, if that's open to young'ns
  7. THIS! Seriously, it'll be a lot easier to pick a weekend that doesn't impede on peoples' plans, especially school. By the time I'll actually have the means to get to MAG, I'll be well into college/working and getting time off for those would be difficult. As for New Years Eve, I never do anything for it but I know a lot of other people do. Planning the convention at a completely different time of year would provide for a lot more flexibility and less stress on everyone planning on attending.
  8. Hm... for some reason I've had the Bad Dudes EP that this was featured on downloaded for quite some time, but never really checked it out. I don't know why, I typically love your piano arrangements and I think that this one might be even more enjoyable than most. Sometimes the percussion can get a little much, but the flute is nice and chill all around, accentuates the beautiful piano, and is definitely a treat for the ears! It definitely would have benefited a lot from being played live, but I won't hold that against you Great mix, how this one escaped me before now is beyond me
  9. Yeah, this isn't too bad at all You've got some great percussion, good enough to even give it a solo to bask in its own glory, haha. Here's some cursory feedback 'cause I'm at school on crappy headphones: the synth and orchestra hits that come in at :36 don't sound like very good samples and kinda stick out like a sore thumb. None of your samples are great but other than those you do a pretty good job working with what you have. The original writing and how well it transitions into the source is masterfully done, I don't think you'll have many (or any) issues getting this past the judges if you can work on a few of your samples. Thanks a ton for remixing such an underremixed (but great) game!
  10. You know, I thought more and more about what you said, and I realized that what you received was probably just a notification that your track had gone through the queue and been YES'd, not that it was actually going to be posted soon. I think you got your hopes up for nothing
  11. http://ocremix.org/forums/showthread.php?t=9785 There's where you change your forum username, but if you want to expedite the process just talk to Larry personally Also, I dig the new name. I too am suffering with a name I chose back in elementary school and never realized I'd be running with for so long. I'm just not creative enough to come up with something new and better, heh.
  12. My younger brother used to compulsively delete all of our game files. Invariably, if we let him play anything, it would end up deleted the next day. Almost everything I played during the SNES or N64 era was affected at one point or another, and no amount of scolding or yelling stopped him until he finally got a clue on his own. This is tangentially related, but on another instance, he woke up in the middle of the night and apparently didn't feel like walking to the bathroom, so he pissed right onto our Nintendo 64, with Diddy Kong Racing inserted I think it caused the game to temporarily glitch up (don't ask why I was still playing it after that incident, it was sufficiently cleaned up) because when we started the game later it had unlocked a bunch of characters and tracks that we'd never had before. They went away after we shut down the game, but it was probably the only good that could ever come from taking a leak onto a gaming system I also had a few carts (DKC2, for example) that would automatically delete themselves after beating them. I've run through the game about 5 times and every time I'll find the file slot empty when I return a week later.
  13. Quick question: after djp finishes his two mixes and the website is finished, do we still need to wait for the CD's to be printed before the project can launch, or does that not necessarily have to be finished right away?
  14. You remind me a lot of the way I view myself, Liz. I never think I look good in photos and I'm self-conscious about just about every part of me, but from my experience others don't seem to think so all that much. Once I can get over those inhibitions I'm a lot more fun to be around, but you're always gonna be your own worst critic. It sounds like you and I would get along well
  15. I second this wholeheartedly. Although, in the interests of continuity and a unifying theme, I think the songs should all be reworked to incorporate the new djp-approved Boobs concept. In fact, forget the music. Let's just release an album full of boobs. That'll show 'em.
  16. It wouldn't have anything to do with the new banner in Kyle's sig, would it?
  17. Hey, did you ever get my PM? I sent it off a while ago and didn't know if you got it and wasn't interested, or if there was some sort of issue along the way :-) Lemme know either way, thanks!

  18. Will... is...

    JUSTICE!

  19. Willrock was at MAGFest? That's news to me, we were just talking yesterday about how neither of us were able to go, did he pull a fast one on me?
  20. http://ocremix.org/game/571/lost-odyssey-xb360 I assume you've heard these two already? They satisfy almost all of the conditions - the songs you wanted with the phat beats/dark tones, as well.
  21. This is pretty great, Fishy, though I can't shake the feeling that the mix feels a little... empty. Not quite as intense as some of your other songs, even though the genre adaptation feels like it should be. I've still enjoyed listening to this one ever since I saw it come up on your Youtube profile, but I don't think it's your strongest effort to date.
  22. On behalf of all of us broke folks who can't afford to buy food, let alone music, I thank you for your generosity!
  23. LOL, posting from school :

Also, check out your post in the judges decision thread if you haven't already. It's funny :-P

  24. Hey, this is pretty killer I love the mallet instruments you used, those sound like they would go perfect with... um, certain upcoming project tracks you have to do T-Shirt Made By Sang Hahn was my favorite! I'll definitely be throwing this on a playlist with Skryp's "Suburbia" for an awesome chillout experience when I'm falling to sleep. Thanks for sharing man!
