But anyways this is in c minor with a few changes to keep it interesting. Samples from Saw and Thriller, oh yeah, this is a drum n bass track by the way lol. I listened to it before but didn't get a chance to critique it. As a song itself I really like it. When I get more time I'll do more of a somewhat thorough response.

I can only tell with the very end of that piece. Sounds pretty crazy though, can't wait to hear the rest.

I probably would get komplete but not until tax returns lol xD. I was just wantin to know if it was a good idea since I want to use FL Studio again? And thanks, I can always use new sounds. Pretty soon everyone will know what sounds I'm usin if I don't get new ones soon lol xD.

I have FL Studio and I also have Reason. I know how to use both but Reason is what I'm currently using, and that's mainly because I don't have a lick of vsts or anything like that for Fl Studio. The only thing I have is T-Racks EQ and Amplitude LE, and Kore Player that's all. I was wanting to start buying sounds but I don't know if I should buy formats used with Reason or use formats that are used with popular samplers like kontakt. I want to start using FL again with Reason acting as a slave so should I just get kontakt or continue using Reason?

Haha nice! I like this picture a lot better since it's zoomed out. I was wonderin about the speakers, why are they so high? Are they fine bein that high? I'm also curious about how much the desk was? Not like I have room anyways but I'm tryin to decide if I want an actual desk with rack mounts built into them or a desk like that from wally world or somethin lol.

@shaggyfreak - That thing looks sweet. Ok I have a question for everyone whoever answers first and I've been meaning to ask this for a while. How do analog synths work? Do you plug into a keyboard and have the keyboard goin out to wherever or what? I've always been confused how that worked.

Wow everything paid off? Nice setup by the way. Are you using the emu microdock? Hard to tell but the box on top of the rack set look like it had a blue light in the corner which is what mine does.

Oh man I love this style of dnb and good to see some Kirby 64 love. Production was good, sounded really professional I thought; drums were bangin, the synth work was cool, all around good song good shit sir.

Ooo got lots of different input on this, thanks guys. What I do is similar to what zircon and tefnek does. I actually think I'm improving production wise but I thought there might be a better or easier way but I guess it just comes down to personal preference. Although I'm pretty comfortable with what I'm doin now, there could be some other way that I like or even new techniques I could adapt to my current style so I'm gonna keep experimenting.

Ok so I use Reason but I'm sure it applies to all DAW's. Before I start working on the song I create the mastering suite combi. For those who don't know it, the default has a parametric eq, compressor, stereo imager, and a maximizer/limiter. When you add it, it stops everything from clipping and stuff. What I want to know is, should I start off not adding the mastering suite and work on the song without it and adjust the levels so it doesn't clip or am I fine doing what I've been doing? I do it with my drums in it's own combi patch as well along with other instruments that I think may need it. I hope that wasn't such a confusing question.

Hey, where can I get Deadmau5 - I Remember - J Majik & Wickaman Remix? When I heard it in the mix I was wishing it would keep playing lol xD.

I got a chance to listen to it again. I don't really hear any issues with it till towards the end when you have that other synth come in and that 4x4 kick drum comes in, it sounds like it's clipping but that could be just me. Maybe someone else could give you a better break down since I've never been good at critiquing someones work when it actually sounds decent lol. That kick drum was the only problem I heard though but you should definitely get more opinions if people listen to the song.

I've been waiting to see the judges panel for this because I knew the only issues the judges would've had was source usage. Jack, you already know how I feel about this remix. Synth work is amazing, guitar work is amazing, drums are amazing, the whole fucking song is amazing and you can't fuck with the production skills. Enough fanboy banter though, good stuff tefnek glad to finally see this posted.
