Because I did the weird distortion effects on purpose because I like the way it sounded and I had a few others say they like it or do you mean it shouldn't be as prominent? I'll get to work with the eq'ing and all that the minute my stands come in for my new krk's, lol I'm soo excited xD. Anymore takers? I need/want all the help I can get.

Yeah I definitely listened. When I listen to his stuff though it's like a good thing and a bad thing: The good thing bein that he's such an amazing musician that his music does give me inspiration but on the bad side, him bein such a good musician makes me realize that I still have tons to learn so it's kind of depressing haha xD. I really appreciate the comments fellas but unfortunately I kinda lost enough motivation for this song that I don't really want to work on it right now but I am working on a Pokemon remix if y'all are interested. I haven't heard the source I'll have to check it out later, but all I know is that this remix is amazing guys! My only complaint is that the chorus part( the part comin in at around 1:47) seemed cluttered because I was havin a hard time understanding the vocals maybe it's just me and my hearing but from first impression it sounded cluttered same goes with other hook part comin in at 3:32 and actually I felt the song could have done without the extra elements like the snare and the tambourine because up until that point the song did without it so beautifully, but I guess that was too keep the mix from bein stagnant it doesn't make the song any worse it was just unexpected. But yeah like I said great job guys I'm glad school started back up and I can get on the internet because I don't think I could have gone without this song on my ipod lol xD. On a side note: My first pseudo in-depth review. I'm gettin better at this maybe lol?

I would assume so if they don't have the project file and you do, that would be a clear indication that you are the actual creator of the song =/. Sorry to just jump in the thread like this but I had similar questions but Meteo Xavier was kind enough to already ask for me lol.

Hey guys, I had a Ragnarok Online remix I had posted not to long ago but lost the motivation for it so I'll work on it later. I definitely want to finish this song though since I've always liked the song when I played the Crystal version. But I would greatly appreciate feedback and what could use some work. Source Remix First Update Final Update Edit: It came to me a while back. But when I fired up my Pokemon Crystal game, I forgot that there was dialogue when you stay on the radio mode in your pokegear and Reed and he gives his intro to the lucky number show and tells you the number. I would like to add that element into the remix I'm workin on. What I need is someone with a decent mic with a dry recording of that dialogue and I need it to be charismatic like how Reed appears to be when he's sayin all of that. If anyones interested please give me a pm and I'll give you further details...

If you love it that damn much, why are you so closed minded about what they want to do with their album, especially if you have no musical talent? Ok I have another question: The midi out only has 16 channels why is that? And what if I have more reason devices I want to use but the number of devices I have exceed the max midi channel which is 16, what do I do then? O_o

This was sweet, I liked the percussion in this but overall this was great.

Ok main thing is since I use Reason(no plugins) and my ears suck still, I can't get a visual cue of what is missing. I feel like I know what is missing but at the same time I can't help myself by just plugging it in. Anyways hears what I have so far if you guys have any qualms or anything to say about the remix let me know because this is still super fresh and I can use all the ideas I can get lol. Ha I would bet. For me I already workout so I'm in great shape I was just sayin that because I know how hard it is to work out alone so you have to be ultra commited like you said. Luckily for me I have a workout partner, two actually, so I'm always bein pushed and I'm not lonely for when I'm pushin myself with a lot of weight.

I was thinkin the sounds were being transfered to FL Studio or somethin and I was just gonna do all of processing of my Reason sounds and stuff in FL Studio but now that I know it's just midi data bein carried over I know that won't work so that means I have to process all my Reason sounds in Reason and the same with FL studio. Dang there are a lot of people who either want to get in shape or get back in shape that one kinda surprised me a little bit lol xD. Another one for me is to become a little better at the piano. Seein as how I totally biffed my recital lol and crying from Shnabubula's out of this world ability, I want to become a super good pianist or at least a competent one.

Yeah really. This is mind blowing to me. While this is not exactly identical (not talkin about the arrangement because it's obvious to anyone who's heard "Smack My Bitch Up" I'm talkin about technical) it's so close that the average consumer wouldn't be able to tell the difference I didn't think it was possible to recreate another one's piece of work like this. I guess if you're recreating someones sampled work, then there's more of a possibility.

What are you kidding me? I haven't done it myself but all my friends that have done it has said it was the tightest thing ever.
