Haha, nice going powerlord, that just made my day, no pun intended. I'll join up when I get back home.

A good varied percussion Library?
Zephyr replied to Zephyr's topic in Music Composition & Production
Interesting reasoning there, considering that's what would put them out of business. -
Have you ever been to an OHC? Haha, it's a riot but the mixes are almost always a complete and total joke.
-
Nice, I really like this idea of a theme actually, because I never have time during a week for PRC, and OHC is good, but it's for originals and it's a little ridiculous. Sadly I won't be able to enter for this first time, I'm gone for the whole week.

Interesting idea of a new gaming service, they run the actual game on their server farm and transmit the video back to you, in this way even crappy PC's can play Crysis on max settings if they have a good internet connection since their PC doesn't have to render anything, only receive video and send keystrokes. Check out their website: http://www.onlive.com/service.html And watch this playlist: http://www.gametrailers.com/game/onlive/11029

So I've been playing through Chrono Trigger...
Zephyr replied to 1337 1's topic in General Discussion
People love it because it was an awesome part of their childhood, it's still a great game, but there's so many other "just good games" to play, so unless this one has reminiscent value to you it might not live up to expectations. -

Nice Job, full budget commercial video game, with Vin Diesel no less. Congrats again, that song is your ticket through the ranks. -
You should be able to travel BACK IN TIME!!!

I think I'm gonna do a dance chiptune original sometime in the next few monthsish. If I ever get it done I'll let you know and you can have it.

Thank zircon, he pointed it out to me somehow somewhere at some point in the past. It's a rather unknown but useful function. They should really just compile a master list of shortcuts. Hrmm... It's from 2007, but most will probably still work. List of shortcuts

OCR TF2: New Server forthcoming - new server IPs and other stuff
Zephyr replied to Bahamut's topic in General Discussion
Nice, I eagerly await my wonderful package. I hope I'm as good at random chance now as I used to be. -
A few days? Nicely done, it would make a great Wiiware game aswel.
-
I'm listening through it now, the first few tracks so far have been nice and relaxing, good easy listening. Well done, and all in 1 month is really impressive!

It takes a lot of practice to get good at mastering. Read a few tutorials and start trying to make space for your tracks. If you want a good set of quality programs, I can recommend Image Line's Juice pack, $99 for the plugin essentials. I can get you 10% off too if you decide to go for it, 10% off here I haven't tried Blue Cat's FreqAnalysis (downloading now) but up till now I've been using Voxengo's SPAN, a free spectrum analyser, I love it's Band Pass filter option for seeing exactly what part is what that I'm seeing. Good Luck!

I tried it out, really interesting, love the asteroid graphics. You'll see the rest of my thoughts in the survey.

Miniscule portable midi controller beta
Zephyr replied to Zephyr's topic in Music Composition & Production
It would be really cool for 100$ or so, especially since it's so small. People are willing to pay more money for bigger things, 800$ would be waaaaaaay too much. Who knows, maybe the beta will be cheap. -
Possible OCR soundtrack project for a game I'm working on
Zephyr replied to FireSlash's topic in Recruit & Collaborate!
Rozo sent everyone involved a PM about everything, including you, you're in the header, I'll forward it to you again if it got lost somehow. -

Sooo, where's all the others? Me, Rozo, Monobrow, and DJ Mokram are working away, where's all the rest of you who signed up? You should drop by the super secret forums. -
Looks like an interesting product, they're accepting users for their beta release at the bottom. http://www.teenageengineering.com/products/op-1/

What music/video streaming service should OCR use?
Zephyr replied to Liontamer's topic in General Discussion
I'm sure this is slightly obvious, but whichever video streaming site that you choose, make sure won't start removing the videos for some sort of copyright infringement once this gets to be a big thing. -
