How far into development are you? Do you have a semi-working build? I've become interested in getting my name out there a little with some simpler projects and getting some practice in too. So I might be interested in a song or two.

I'd also check around and see if there's any polyphony being limited, that would cause each successive note to cancel on of the previous ones, just do a quick check through the plugins and sonar to see if there's a limit polyphony option.

I didn't like it at first, just because it was a big change, but then I slapped myself and tried to find something that I didn't like about it, other than it being a big change... I couldn't think of anything. Good call on changing things. It's better this way.

Hrmm, I've been using it for a while now and it just seems broken in so many ways, any time that I download a song and listen to it in Songbird, it saves it and adds it to the library, which I rarely want, and it adds a new one everytime that I download it, (mostly a problem with songs I only want to listen to once, like WIP's, which it saves duplicates of if I click the link again later). There's no way to see the current "on the go" playlist, and even with the "Now playing" add-on, it's completely broken, wiping out the playlist everytime you choose and album or artist. When pausing, then playing songs, it will play for 3 seconds before outputting any sound... it really doesn't manage playlists very well either. Maybe I'll come back for V 2.0

I've been using FL Studio for a while and I'd like to help out some of the people who are struggling with it, I've found I can answer most people's questions around here, and I'm planning to start doing some video tutorials of FLStudio and assorted audio stuff. I have the software and hardware ready for it. Now I just need to know what people would like to see me teach about, preferably from a technical standpoint (how to do/work things, not "how to make awesome trance"). It can be standard music stuff too, for example, "How to use a compressor". TL;DR = What do you want a video tutorial for (or what you think other people would want).

It's probably just an updated version of the existing SDK, they don't make a new SDK for each game, they just update the current one to work with new games. You can download it in the Tools menu.

Steel's setup gates aren't spawncamping IMO, especially since you can go around it in 2 other ways, if they're actually stickying the spawn room door (the door to the room where you spawn for those who are obviously confused) then that's not allowed. But in also IMO I think that if an admin tells them to stop, and they don't, then it's insubordination anyways, so kick them for that instead if you don't want to kick for spawncamping. Also, WHAT RAMBO SAYS GOES, so I guess I'll be red scoot instead. Yes, I know, I'm wishy-washy like a wishy-washing machine.

What most suits me? Scout or spy? I play pretty much everything from time to time so it really doesn't matter to me. Unless someone has a better idea I'll take Red Spy for $500.

I've wondered that myself, about why you can't use the product how you like, why do things need to be "unlocked"? Don't get me wrong, I'm glad it's like that, but you don't need to unlock the bonus features in your favourite DVD. Also, when it comes to movies and Video Games, you paid for the whole product so I've always figured that the soundtrack should be included for free.

Please give up the arguing, "amount of skill" is all relative, they're tons of different facets of each class, every should have a balance to be successful, blahblahblah.

You may be thinking along the wrong lines, you don't want synthesizers and drum machines from the era the game was made, early game systems (SNES, NES) had their own internal soundchips and independent sound systems, games didn't contain audio, only note data for the soundchips. Unless you're talking about arcade games or some other systems.

Some of the more common Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs)are: Reason FL Studio (PC Only) Cubase Sonar Logic (Mac Only) Try out the demos and try to find one that suits your workstyle. A good DAW can often be all that you need to get started as far as software goes.
