OCR TF2: New Server forthcoming - new server IPs and other stuff
Zephyr replied to Bahamut's topic in General Discussion
I'm a little disappointed that they went with the sniper next, but it sounds like they're moving along very quickly so that's good. -
Does the internal fruity pitch bend not work? It should be autolinked to the pitch bend on your midi controller, and if you don't have a midi controller it's in the top of the channel settings menu. You can set the range of and automate that knob.

FAC - RESULTS ARE IN!!! Fan Art Competition 23: Heroes as Villains
Zephyr replied to bonzai!'s topic in Competitions
This theme sounds awesome, I eagerly wait to see the results. -
Sweet, I just saw your ad on the OCR homepage. You guys should offer an online flash demo of the game, if it's really as fun as you say it would help get people interested. That... and I want to try this but I don't have anything compatible.

Don't let the Giga Continuous Velocity Piano get away
Zephyr replied to Moseph's topic in Music Composition & Production
To be honest, I've never really been a fan of this, it has weird key release noises which, while realistic are really annoying. I found an awesome soundfont or two in some random places and I've been using those and my libraries since. -
This is amazing, I love the ads.

A good varied percussion Library?
Zephyr replied to Zephyr's topic in Music Composition & Production
In my searches i found this site, a bunch of percussion type blip collections, definitely interesting, fun to play with. http://blips.hit.bg/ -
Can we get some details? What style of show is it, and what kind of music do you want?
-
I'd like to start expanding a bit and I could use some percussion samples, I have a good amount of acoustic kits and such, but would like some more varied breakbeat/techno/lofi etc. I'm willing to dish out some cash, but I don't have anything like Kontakt, so it'll need to either have it's own VST or just be a set of WAV's. Thanks for any help

Possible OCR soundtrack project for a game I'm working on
Zephyr replied to FireSlash's topic in Recruit & Collaborate!
I think we should do it all in mp3's to keep it simple until the final versions when we can convert to ogg. -

CMC - Conceptual Music Competition 27: Return of the Pharaoh
Zephyr replied to Abadoss's topic in Competitions
I'm not really a fan of these themes that pretty much limit the songs to one specific genre of song, rather than a feel. Just putting that out there... -
Creating a song, with not alot of sounds available.
Zephyr replied to Halt's topic in Music Composition & Production
You can get any sort of sounds for free, no guarantees that they'll be *good* sounds, but they're good enough for until you get better ones. What types of sounds do you want? Be specific. -

I love systems like this, for example the SSX series, when you're going really fast doing crazy tricks the song is busy and intense, and as you hit a huge jump the mix thins out and it get's mellow as you soar through the air. Probably a hard thing to do, but it's really cool when executed properly. -

What could be bad about following OCR's standards? It only ensures quality, it doesn't change what kind of style or anything that you can do. -
Looking for some good OC ReMixes with cool Vocals.
Zephyr replied to Halt's topic in General Discussion

OCR TF2: New Server forthcoming - new server IPs and other stuff
Zephyr replied to Bahamut's topic in General Discussion
Haha, just found this, apparently it still works. EDIT: lol, I forgot the link... -
Wow, I just watched the videos, I wanna try this out right now! I love how the time waves system works, you can effectively screw yourself over in an effort to get ahead and not feel the effects of the loss until a few minutes go by. That and with chronoporters, so long as you remember which unit was supposed to be where in time, you could make a whole army out of just one unit. The whole "outdoing the other guy" concept is huge here, you're gonna need to decide which battles it's most important for you to avoid or change. This is really cool *watched*

No to class limiters, that would ruin engy rushes, scout rushes, spy rushes, Heavy uh... umm stampedes? It's just fun to fool around every once in a while. -
That looks nice and compact, I don't like combined Mod/pitch wheels though, not like that anyways.

From the gamecube days... Some of the bonus fights in Mega Man X command mission (the RPG) were ridiculous. The tails family and rafflesia were really tough.

Haha, the mentos man is awesome! Wow, I didn't actually ask for anything, but I also didn't know you were taking requests either, so that's awesome thanks! Also, Sweet! 1 in 4 odds of a secret prize!? That's even better that the odds for the lottery! -
There's definitely a distinction between what I listen to, (all of it) and what I download and save, which I judge depending on how much I like it on a case by case basis. But for listening it's E)
