I should be able to make that. I feel bad for not being able to work on the song for so long, but I should have a bit of time in the end of June to remedy that.

Nice that you featured Radio SEGA, I try to catch Sega Mixer Drive whenever I can.
Cool interview & nice to hear a bit more about Sir_NutS' album! I notice there were no secret songs this week, are you rotating the segments a bit? Nice to hear the Playlist is growing in popularity, it is actually quite fun to hear everyone's suggestions and make one's own. You get to hear a good bunch of stuff you wouldn't necessarily otherwise. Percussion, huh. Need to think of it. I have one but I feel it's too obvious (or like someone else will suggest it anyway).

Ah, I should also mention I did check out Level because of the Solo Track here and I liked what I was hearing, I'll be checking out the podcast more. Kind of have been getting into this podcast thing more thanks to listening to OCPC.

Nice lighter episode, it worked. Noone's interview was indeed worthy of getting out in full (or so), and the decision to split it in two was a good one methinks.

That's just nuts. And brilliant.

It's good to put the game title on the thread title.

'Rolling' is edging towards completion...

This was a great show indeed. I really like what you've done these past two episodes to shake things up a bit and improve the podcast. Keep going!

Many thanks @Eladar for great feedback! Good to know about the percussion feeling repetitive, I think I'll put a bit more effort into it. Very good analysis of the structure - I'll think of something for the intro and especially outro for certain.

I've played and enjoyed (and completed!) Quest for Glory 1 (the VGA version) but strangely enough I must have played without music.. perhaps it was before I got a soundcard (oh man, the ancient times). Got some cool ditties in there for sure.

Mixing improvements. Close to finished I think, I need to consider the mixing of the bass end, I'd be interested in thoughts about that (and the mixing in general).

Nothing wrong with 8min+ pieces!

Sorry, forgot to reply. Yeah, this thread is pretty quiet, it'd be cool to get it rebooted sometime.
The thought of the initiative was games from 2000 and earlier. Touhou is mostly after that right, and the earliest games are for PC98? (By all means go for it anyway!)

Well, by this I was inspired to map out my own odd time signature plan of an arrangement for this source.

Wrong direct download link.
I like that the show evolves, I liked what I heard in terms of segments and structure. WillRock07 interviews great, his self-deprecating humour is always fun to hear (it's comforting that guys up his level also feel outclassed by other artists).

Twas indeed a top-notch interview. Really cool to hear four people who know what they're doing and are good at it discuss what and how they do in detail.

I didn't know Mazedude was German ...
Fun interview with Brandon! Great vocals from Cheryl. Looking forwards to the full album.

Very eager to hear Sixto's take on Lenna's theme.

I don't have the time to check this out right now, but really looking forward when I get some peace and quiet, maybe in a couple of weeks, it'll be so nice to check this out then, it'll be quite a special moment I know!

Good work ruining hopes and dreams already. Many thanks & looking forward to even more of that.

Some variation (such as start/stop shenanigans) for the "chorus" repeat before the outro, compression on the hihats & snare and maybe some other tweaks. The big bass drum distorts the mix here and there (definitely needs some attention), and the bass is kind of plain (but maybe ok?).

We did do something
and I submitted my Wandering Warriors arrangement to the panel recently too. Hopefully more to come! @Rukunetsu that's great to hear!

Speaking of the above (hehe), here's my wip thread for the Psycho Pinball track: wipwip
