  1. Slightly late I guess, but cowabungramaluations! --Eino
  2. Ok, thanks for the heads up!

  3. All right, this sounds pretty interesting! I'll try to squeeze together the time for this! --Eino
  4. Mmm spoons.. no, really, everyone was very supportive in their feedback on my track & rightly saying it was unfinished and too short. I'm very inspired to keep working on the track! You can expect progress in 2017! (I actually worked on it a bit just now.) edit: Also, indeed, a very good round! --Eino
  5. That sounds like a fun way to participate, though I need to secure some better recording gear. Hopefully soon. --Eino
  6. Oh cool, Atari ST. Pretty nice tune in the intro.. the bass in the beginning of the title piece sounds a bit awkward, but the following part sounds really good. Sounds like the composition is the same or at least similar in the .--Eino
  7. There's some very good stuff on the album! I of course enjoy the epic rap trilogy - the varied backing is great, really a lot of respect for keeping it so varied and alive throughout. Excellent verses, I was laughing out loud at the Snake especially. Not to scoff on any of the other tracks, but I also especially enjoyed Train Yourself - tight rock/bigbeat groove; S-Tier - a mini-epic, I especially liked the middle portions; Chillin' with the Bros. - it's chill but the harmony is tense, the agressometer doesn't go near red in this track, so it's somewhat understated, but that just adds to the excellentness; Judge, Jury and Executioner has tons of 80s/chiptune goodness.. I appreciate how in the solo section, the backing adjusts when the solo changes mode/scale/theorystuff yeah - sounded good to me; Gathering Clouds of Heaven - superb sound design and very deliberately paced, feels like one huge build up.. definitely getting 90s vibes from this. That's over half of the material on the album that I immediately enjoy a lot, that's a pretty good hit rate so good work all! --Eino
  8. I have voted! It wasn't easy, and I enjoyed everyone's tracks. It'll be interesting to see how the vote turns out. --Eino
  9. I really like how the music box sounds. I've never done orchestral stuff, and I know nothing about the merits of different orchestra VSTs, but I would guess you can probably get a lot more realistic sound through better sequencing - so don't shell out that cash just yet.. I hope you get some feedback with actual relevant experience behind it. You could try to PM ReMixers who do orchestral stuff for tips! --Eino
  10. *insert obligatory "I should join DoD some time and this looks like a great month to do it" -post* --Eino
  11. I probably don't have a chance to work on my arrangement more, so I'm uploading what I have. --Eino
  12. Great news! Looking forward to hearing it! --Eino
  13. ..that's me 15 years ago.. how did you.. what.. !?! Trying to make up for lost time! --Eino
  14. I had a late-at-night idea yesterday - the track themes might well work for a versus-style competition, which in turn could serve as a way for generating or just gauging interest for the album, as well as material. Just a random thought! --Eino
  15. whos that xprtnoob anyway Happy birthday & lots of cake to you! --Eino
  16. Urgh! Rexy, that is both super cool and quite terrifying! Why? Pressure to make the track better of course! I'm usually content to post whatever I have into competitions (it's much better to do that even if you're not satisfied with the track yourself, in my opinion), but if you're going to play it to the public.. that does raise the bar significantly! Not saying that you shouldn't do it, quite the contrary, that's pretty awesome! --Eino
  17. Both sources are pretty cool. I have some nice ideas for both. Can't say I had the time to work out anything, but congrats on picking inspiring sources! --Eino
  18. I really liked your tracks, I hope I can check out the improvements soon! --Eino
  19. I was inspired to check some of the Genesis OST, and that was great stuff. The game even looks great to me.. Really too bad it apparently doesn't play too well. I sure hope they fix that in the sequel! :-D --Eino
