I don't know the original soundtrack, but man, this track is beautiful. The beginning sounds very sad, but you can feel some hope later on. Not a lot to say, since it's a piano-only remix, but it was really nice. More please.

Nice rock remix here. The performance is excellent on the solos. I'm not a fan of the type of snare used here, it sounds a little more like a snare from industrial bands -- something less splatty would work here IMO. Other than that, no problem at all with this classy rock arrangement. Nice job!

I managed to miss this remix despite all the noise around it. And wow, that's really excellent -- what would you expect but goodness from the Aversas? The choice of synths is on spot. Jillian's voice is beautiful, as always. My words cannot describe the quality of the remix, so I'll just finish by saying that it's also nice to see modern soundtracks getting some OCR love!

Man, if I'm the Alex who's crazy about Castlevania, then RoeTaKa is the Alex who's crazy about the Souls series lol. Another great arrangement -- the breakdown in the middle was a fine addition. I could agree on a few things that were said before my review (some articluations especially), but my own remixes aren't as good as this one, so that's far from being a problem. As always, nice arrangement and production.

Very nice and emotional remix. I like the choice of instruments here. Once again, you definitively can say it's from RoeTaKa just by listening to it (and maybe because it's from a Souls game lol). Another epic orchestral arrangement, not bombastic, but trying to vehiculate the right emotions.

It starts off as an electro/chip track, but quickly evolves into a rock arrangement, with some prog influences (synths especially). Really like the overall arrangement and the atmosphere: it sounds more like "Scenes from a City at Night" to me ^^ Nice choice of instruments and solid production. More please?

I contacted more than 30 artists and it seems there's is little to no interest in a KH album (compared to the response I got for the VV albums for instance). I don't think it's realistic to expect a mass arrival of claims anytime soon, so the best option may be to see if people here would be interested to collab on a KH remix (or several ones) and close this thread. I'll find something else.

Wow, this is really funky/groovy. I love how Tim mixed the more funky elements with the dubstep/electro elements. The strings sounded a little weird at some points -- maybe it was harder to fit them in the more electro-oriented remix? Excellent arrangement, top production, but why is it so short?? Moar please, Tim, MOAR!

The start sounds more ominous than it is for Alex's other DS remixes. This one is more cinematic and sounds more powerful -- yet you can still feel the tragic emotion within the remix. I'll agree with Eino on the fact the choir sounds a little MIDI-ish (in terms of arrangement, not samples), but it's far from being a problem. The harpischord is a very nice addition -- the remix sounds like a baroque/waltz piece during some parts. Really nice work.

It starts off very nicely, almost like a movie theme or the start of a trailer music track. The piece is very emotional, I could see it has the music playing during a sad scene in a movie. Yet again, Alex succeeds in making something very epic without making it ultra-bombastic. I really love this one, it sounds really good.

Alex's tracks are always well-produced. This one is no exception. The samples are great, the arrangement itself is interesting, and it's filled with emotion. The guitar is a nice touch in an orchestral remix. So are the ethnic percussions. The tracks sounds very epic, without being bombastic at all -- that's cool. Love it.

Typical retro OCR sound here with synths, chiptune, pads -- but then strings? That's more interesting. The percussion is maybe a little generic, but does the job. The fade-out at the end is not very interesting -- it's 2015, yo! XD This remix was enjoyable and fun, but not exceptional in my opinion.

Wow, this is a long one. I was afraid it'd be boring, since the intro was slow, but it quickly evolved into something really relaxing and interesting to listen to. I'm not a fan of atmospheric music, but this one sounds very nice. The percussion work is excellent, as it's very minimalistic -- not boring and reinventing itself as the remix advances. Nice use of the various synths/FX, it creates a very relaxing ambiance. The ending is maybe a little aburpt though -- after 9+ minutes of relaxation, the return to reality was sudden LOL

An interesting orchestral take, with a touch of cinematic influences. The samples are very nice (at some points like 0:45, there are some weird articulations, but nothing problematic), and the production is clean. The piano parts are lovely and add a little something to the track. A nice and emotional remix.

This is beautiful. The arrangement is lovely, especially considering it's vibraphone-only. I love how you can hear Doug breathing while recording this, it adds a very natural feeling to the track. It's a very relaxing remix, with just the right amount of post-FX to improve what's already sounding excellent. Doug, please more!

Wow, so many big names here. I don't know the source, but the choice of instruments is awesome (even surprised to hear a xylophone here). Production is excellent (what did you expect? ). I'm quite astonished by how cohesive this sounds considering the number of people involved. Impressive job, guys!

New review: this is a new level of remixing. Not only the arragement is impressive, but the performance is stellar. Everything sounds awesome -- Chopin and Saint-Saëns (yay, vive la France) would be very proud of this track. Excellent choice of source too. Don't have much to say on this one, it's far too good for my words.

Nice choice of source, and neat concept of remix -- keeping the vocals is great here. Plus the lyrics are very interesting and well-written. Later on, the track really shines with great arrangement ideas. I swear I can hear few quotes from other tracks from SotN. Production is excellent, everything sounds very-well mixed. Ah, so Mr. Vania isn't doing piano-solo remixes only? The acoustic bass is a really nice addition here, it adds something classy to the track, which is fitting for a jazz remix. The guitar and melodic percussion (dulcimer/xylophone?) coming up later are also fine choices of instrumentation. Everything sounds good together -- an interesting take on yet another Castlevania classic! (May I suggest adding some soft drums next time? )

New review: Very creative and jazzy take on "Wicked Child" -- which has been remixed to death. This one still has a more traditional/classical feeling to it, especially during the "B" parts. Some other parts add some tension to the track -- fitting level 3 of the original game, I guess! Love the little ending. Nice job!

It's also a nice way to (re)discover tracks you may have skipped or missed back in the day. I hope more people will enter!

New review: This is one of my fav tracks from VV2 -- I have already said that, right? I told Guilherme his track had a strong "Pirates of the Caribbean" feeling and he developed it quite nicely. It still has his own dance/electro style. Truly an unique take on the less-known source -- but I'm sure it would fit a modern CV game.

New review: An interesting and original arrangement, very jazzy (duh). Solid performance as well. A few references to other pieces (I swear I heard a few notes from "Beginning") before it gets quieter. I really like this part -- more intimate, and still jazzy. Nice transition to the final part.

Your typical WillRock remix -- electric guitars, synths, and lots of energy. This one is maybe more aggressive in terms of writing and mixing. Lots of crazy solos everywhere -- a realy pleasure to follow. Nice breakdown(s) in the middle -- I love the section with the drum solo. A real rollercoaster of emotions. Moar please!
