  1. New review: this is really excellent, because it blends very well the original theme with John William's Harry Potter Main Theme. Some samples could use an upgrade to sound a little better, but man, the arrangement is so incredible, and the build-up is great. Awesome work, man, more please!
  2. My SS hasn't been around for days. Hope he got his present. :/
  3. A very bizarre remix, yet again from Redg. Don't hate on me but even if I can feel the hard work in this remix, I'm not a big fan of it. The 2:05 part reminded me of The Dark Knight's soundtrack (The Joker's theme) and was the best part. Nice job.
  4. A lovely arrangement, filled with emotions. The use of the different themes worked very well here. The performance/playing is great too. It's maybe a little too quiet at some points, but it's fitting to the remix's concept. Very nice, great job here!
  5. The intro didn't do much for me, but once you get to the next part, it becomes really interesting and more interpretative. Loved the arrangement, the choice of instruments, and the soundscape. Something really lovely -- mcu recommended!
  6. It has a really melancholic feeling to it -- I can really picture somthing sad to this . The arrangement/orchestration is lovely. The samples could have been a little better, but man, that's a great arrangement. I will return to this one a few times!
  7. A lovely remix. I thought it lacked a bit of punch at some places, but it may have not fitted the "rest" theme LOL This track is in-between something really relaxing and something more energic, it's not easy to find the right mood. I enjoyed it, it was nice.
  8. The chiptune tone in this is great! I really like the use of the different themes. The different sounds were well-explored and the arrangement was interesting. It was a simple yet enjoyable remix.
  9. Superb arrangement from several very-talented remixers. The blend of very different elements (chiptune, ethnic percussion, acoustic guitar, flute) is incredibly well done. When everything goes toegther, it gave me the chills. Nice job guys!
  10. Fantastic playing here. The arrangement is very nice and detailed. You can feel some emotion throughout the track, and it's crazy how a single instrument can do that. Some parts reminded me of Kingdom Hearts (Destiny Islands). Something not unique by its genre, but by its execution.
  11. Awesome -- so that's why I should expect from the Chrono album? The arrangement is EXCELLENT and the performances are incredible. It's sometimes a little too quiet, but it fits the genre I guess. Very creative, I hope to hear more in the future.
  12. Ah super groovy/jazzy remix -- you were not lying about adding drums, haha. The organ is a neat addition too. The different sections were very creative. My only concern is that it's really short -- is that a real problem lol?
  13. LOL It's an interesting concept to take a simple source like this and put DUBSTEP on it. Also, interesting choice of instruments (the clarinet later on). The result is surprisingly "happily-sounding". The production is clean, and the ear candy is real. Nice ideas, nice execution. Enjoyed it.
  14. This is beautiful. It's an interesting to sing with an unknown language. The orchestration is excellent -- the samples are great. Production is super clean too. The Aversas strike again and it's another hit! Loved it!
  15. The intro made me think I would get a more jazz-oriented remix. The sounds/samples/synths were a little vanilla for me, but the arrangement was very nice -- the 2:15-part was the best IMO. Cool remix!
  16. Interesting mix. It's very calm and yet quite energic -- I guess house usually goes that way, right? Anyway, the different sections worked well and were well connected with nice transitions. Six minutes is maybe a little too long but I found it enjoyable and relaxing.
  17. The track has a huge Kirby infuence (sounds, composition) and it's super fun. The chiptune is well used but the overall mix lacks in the bass department IMO. It was quite simple but enjoyable. Not much to add -- nice job!
  18. Solid mix. It's not hyper energic, but sets a nice mood/atmosphere. The choice of instruments/synths and the use of FX really did this track. The track doesn't hange much in terms of dynamics, but its relaxing mood sealed the deal. A sweet track!
  19. Nice arrangement from an awesome duo. Sir J and Garrett really nailed the arrangement --neat take on the source. It's super groovy, and the instrumentation is very nice. Production is top notch as always too. A must-listen-to!
  20. You can't go wrong with Sam Dillard. A superb orchestral/cinematic remix, full of surprises and epicness. The choir is a neat addition. The arrangement is excellent and so is the production. A truly epic take on the source. I love it!
  21. It's been a few days since I posted my last review. Did a lot on paper and will post them asap!
  22. If this gets reopened, it won't happen before a few months. Sorry about all this, new stuff happened and this was a bad idea to jump into this that quickly. Mods, please close/delete this thread, thanks.
  23. Yes, no orchestra, you cannot compete with the Philarmonia Orchestra. Plus the concept was to follow Ultron's line about metal. Thanks for the tips and comments.
  24. "When the dust settles, the only thing living in this world... will be metal" -- Ultron Metal remix of "Heroes" from Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron Composed by Alan Silvestri (Avengers) & Danny Elfman (Age of Ultron) I love the music from the movie and wanted to pay it tribute. Enjoy!
