That was pretty damn good drama for being staged. I was LITERALLY eating popcorn the whole time.

I saw the news yesterday and immediately assumed that was correct, but I had only seen the news; no scans. This scan has people with the same outlines, so... yeah, pretty much confirmed. A little disappointing, but not unexpected. Portable 1 sold like gangbusters in Japan, and it's only real failure to becoming a true Monster Hunter threat (lol, as if) was that it only had adhoc multiplayer and not online, which this sequel seems to fix.

Yeah, pretty much every FF from the SNES days on allowed for two players (although I think it may have started with V) But this was basically just "second player makes menu choices in battle for this, this, and this character" and nothing more. Kind of boring for the most part.

In terms of storytelling, it's a very interesting ride, but it's also kind of frustratingly boring to have to watch essentially the same episode over and over again with minor variations eight times. It's amusing seeing how many different ways Haruhi can almost murder Mikuru with a beach ball though.

I found it absolutely hilarious how Chiaki's dad acts JUST LIKE HIM. I'm wondering if the entire family is like that, and now I have this mental image of Chiaki's mom just being Chiaki in a wig and dress.

The only person I know who has some experience with Korg DS-10 is Stemage of Metroid Metal, who used it on the MP2 Torvus Bog remix track. You should hit him up and get his input. Though hopefully someone HERE has some knowledge on it.

OH MY GOD, THIS. I lost so many hours of my life to that game, and I will never regret it. An additional plus: music by Tim Follin. Clearly the game gets Larry's seal of approval.

Figured I'd hijack an old thread instead of making a new one. Courtesy of a hard drive crash, I've just finished torrenting 0001-1700 and am at work downloading the rest manually. Samurai Discotheque's Dreamhost mirror link is broken, and so is Castle of Tears' iiens mirror. I'm going backwards, so if I encounter any more broken links from 1701 to 1748 as I download over the next ten minutes, I'll edit this post.
