  1. Fuck, judging from the Zelda LttP on the screen that must have been just after I left for the night. I'd be up for it, if only so I don't get bored between New Year's and MAGFest like I was this year.Besides, OCR NEW YEAR'S PARTY, anyone? Eh?? Hell, I'LL host it if no one else will (whomever's willing to come to Harrisburg, PA...) Now, the fun part: My pictures are FINALLY uploaded to Flickr and Facebook is coming soon. I'll post some highlights now. Garian's #2, and [somebody]'s #3. Geoffrey Taucer, Shnabubula, and somebody else play at JamSpace.
  2. Add a Facebook link in your profile! since you never told me your full name...
  3. The Can the Judges DJP meme has been around for how long and you're only recommending that now?
  4. All I have to say is.. And if it's any consolation I already told you I'm a fan of your ReMixes. Now make some new ones dammit! Okay. I finally found the time to re-recorded it tonight proper (again, live in Traktor) sans vinyl intro or outro. It's still flawed but judging from Starla's YouTube segment, which in my mind went well, it's a big improvement. (I swear, one of these days I'll learn how to make proper mash-ups in Ableton Live or something...) In any case, Enjoy! Edit: I see what you did there...
  5. I was so out of the loop that night; catching the Captain S marathon, then the concerts then... you all just disappeared! So let it be written, so let it be done.In any case, while I'm still sorting through my photos I'm uploading my videos to YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/user/digamejh I've got 3 up at the moment, 2 of Virt at the Chiptunes concert, and the other of some jamming.
  6. Jesus, so many pictures to digest and so little time. AHHH!!~ For those that don't know, upon arrival back in Harrisburg I was whisked away to Salt Lake City the very next day (today) for a weeklong skiing trip semi-against my will--though I'm sure it will still be a good time. I did some organizing of my pictures on the plane, but I'm afraid it'll still be a few days... I'm fighting off arguments from him right now... It was great seeing old friends and new at the festival and maybe I'll have somethting more to show next year (PM or IM me, Level 99)! Thanks all. Edit: Love this picture! Giggles all around.
  7. Yeah, Kroze and I were shouting along at the top of our lungs (I <3 cheesy 80s pop). Those glitchy NES backdrops were the best as well; who made those again?. What? There was a Radical Dreamers project?? None of us except those who posted it got to hear the full work there AFAIK, since the Internet was so terrible. I'm downloading it now. But yeah, thanks for a great time all!
  8. I'm posting from the LAN room right now. Internet's slow as fuck, but otherwise all's well. We all just saw Virt & co. rock out at the chiptune concert and I'm happy to report that earlier today DJSammyG and starla won for best male & female cosplayers respectively! He was a Tetris block (again) and she was... a character from SD 2 (the sequel to Secret of Mana). Sorry I forget the name!
  9. Holyshit Escariotisheretodrivemeearly KTHXBYE!!
  10. Best pic of you (and Z and Jose) evar. BUG EYES!! Glad to see much craziness was had all around.
  11. Hey is anyone having problems running the program under Windows XP SP2? It always tells me it's configured wrong and to try reinstalling it. Edit: Yeah, Drack, Super Demo World is the shit. Hard, but fun and creative as hell. Me: I'm permanently stuck on the Backdoor Star World level where you have to fly through the spikes and saws and stuff. Is there *any* way through that??
  12. Dude, Super Mario Brothers was at least a year before that! And 1984's arcade Marble Madness springs to mind as remixable. But if there are remixes of the likes of Pac-Man, then remixable music goes way back...
  13. Well the title of the .zip on that download page is "syobon-action" and the YouTube video title translated through Google is "Mario game for the senior-laden Homemade let him 1"...Internet Engrish ftw.
  14. If you end up getting an iPod but don't like iTunes, there's always Anapod Explorer.
  15. There is a Gradius one: complete Stage 1. Me: I may try for the Battletoads Hard (complete Stage 6; that was always my favorite anyway), Marble Madness Normal (beginner race) and of course SMB or SMB2 Normal Also, I'd pay to watch someone defeat Mike Tyson in Punch-Out!
  16. Hey, guys. The chips have finally falling into place and I sadly am not going to be able to make it to the NYC meetup But I am coming to MAGFest come Hell or high water! Bring those games to MAGFest, Pezman. I'd love to try them out there.
  17. I'm listening to it now and am enjoying it so far. all and Merry Christmas all!
  18. Hey, I'm still looking for a room! Who's it with (not that it matters)? And yeah, Jose. You will be missed, but always next time bro!
  19. Heh. Who'd have thought that Borat would have grown to become a bigger persona than his Ali G?
  20. Works for me. Pumping iron and smoking a cigar at the same time. Yeah, that's a good idea.
