I haven't heard anything about the script, other than that it's loosely based on one of the games. What I can see in the trailer seems pretty nice though. As someone said before me, they've captured the gritty, cold and dark essence, and there's alot of potential from the games. I take it the angel-thingy will be a hallucination.
I find it hard to hear the lead tracks in the section 02:45 - 03:07. Also, I'm not sure, but something about the second lead there sounds off. Also, the track sounds like it's trying to end at 06:10, and I kind of lose interest when it drags out.
This thread is very useful! I'm wondering a bit about the DAW_chart file though, are the sequencers that are listed as "compatible with XP" compatible with both the "regular" editions and 64-bit one(s)?
I'm upgrading my computer and haven't thought about that issue until now.
Haha, at first I thought this was my thread being revived. In other words, I am all to familiar with the source track by now. I really like the way you've handled it here, but as SplinterOfChaos said it does feel a bit repetitive at length. There are more lead tracks to fetch themes from in the original, aren't there?
So, I finally took a picture I'm really proud of! There was a huge forest fire further uphill from where I live, and the sky that night was basically any photographer's dream.
And a link to it on DeviantArt.
I hadn't heard of this show/band until I wikied it because of this thread. I really want to check it out further now. How are they doing a tour though? Are they using actors, or rather real musicians "filling out" for the cartoon characters?
I didn't get further than to the consecutive battle rooms with whole eaters and bombs. I tried wielding the sword there for a bit, but I just couldn't get the hang of it.
