I have a Griever necklace and Rinoa's double ring necklace in the mail as we speak. It's actually the only Final Fantasy I've ever finished. I loved my Dreamcast. It kept freezing up on SA though.

So I picked up my latest issue of Nintendo Power. At the back of this issue, they had an article on Overclocked Remix, where they mostly talk about the latest remix album, Summoning Of Spirits. I was just wondering if anyone else knew about this. Here's a convenient scan from said magazine. Personally I'm a little surprised they didn't mention Voices of The Lifestream, considering its enormous popularity. I guess it doesn't show so well. PM me if you'd like a larger picture.

I've got nothing to say on this mix. I mean, other than I thoroughly enjoyed it in it's entirety. Get this mix now, don't ask questions, and let the good times roll.

One thing I have to say about this movie: the length. That, and I have GOT to stop drinking half my large coke before I'm 20 minutes through my movies. This movie was indeed a bit mindless and a lot of unnecessary humor. Even if it wasn't necessary, I still found myself laughing at those moments. Now, I'm an avid movie-goer. I love watching movies in the theater with my wife, it's one of our favorite things to do together. We're not deep, philosophical people. We like to be entertained, even if it's brainless, plot-less action. And that's what we got with Transformers 2. The college scenes, while not brilliantly done, were great. Even the scenes prior before getting there were pretty damn funny. Tasteless maybe, but still funny. C'mon, people. We're not looking for an Emmy or some thought-provoking masterpiece. This is Transformers. Action, humor, and even some lovey-dovey scenes into the mix. That's all about what you're gonna get. For me, that's enough.

^ I knew that. This movie may well be the freakiest movie to be made in some time. I'd go see it just to laugh at Alan Rickman in his silly caterpillar costume.

Okay, I'm digging the percussion for the intro. All right, I checked out the source material. Turns out it's little more than a bunch of bongos! This remix takes a simple set of big, wooden drums and turns it into something more. The rhythms and the drum patterns here are really something else, taking a simple, primitive song into something eloquent and exciting! Great job!

Exciting, eh? For my birthday, I have decided to...rent some movies, chill out, and maybe take a trip to the zoo like my wife and I have been doing for the last two years. Last night we went out to Outback Steakhouse, where I had Ribs and Springs Chicken with Khalua and coffee. I am currently snacking on the remains of my wife's leftover burger. If I have the inclination, I might just rent Hostel and part II for my personal enjoyment. The wife can't handle stuff like that.

Top notch, kiddies. This is top notch entertainment. I'm getting Okami vibes from the action, using their sudophones to write symbols which become weapons/tools. Freakin' awesome.
